  • Dundee's finest.

  • The original Lecter!!! (or Lektor as he was credited in the movie)

  • FOR HELGHAN!!

  • "I'm now depressed."

  • "They kind of mistrust intelligence"

One of the Best Statements about Americans I've ever heard

  • @A16AdamWalker They say mankind fears that which it does not understand. Apparently Americans fear intelligence...

  • I have to say it was quite refreshing to see an island native turn around and call Clarkson out on his "free country" bull. It's apparent that Cox is unhappy with the direction of the UK's surveillance state, but I don't think he's all "America f*** yeah" either - you'd have to be crazy to think that the US doesn't have its shortcomings.

  • oh yeah , Scolar Visari! damn epic leader...

  • Fair enough, if you're looking for trouble, you're going to find it. But who on earth says it's alright to threaten or beat somebody because of it? In a 'free country' surely you're free to drive though with whatever you want on your car without prejudice. Expressing yourself is not being an 'asshole'.

  • Couldn't agree more on that one. The Vietnam episode bugged me quite a bit as well. Granted, you would be hard pressed to find an American that would say we should have been there in the first place; but James Mays comment about Honda motor bikes doing a better job at delivering freedom then an American tank was downright insulting coming from a Brit. I can appreciate that sentiment from a Vietnamese person but from these guys doing a CAR SHOW of all things, not cool considering our history.

  • I like Top Gear and all (it's one of my favorite shows) but am I the only one who is getting a bit put off by all of the digs on America they do? For the most part I think it's just good natured ribbing (some of it, like what's in this interview, isn't) and some of it may very well be justified but it's getting pretty old. I can't think of the last time I saw a program from the U.S. that repeatedly made jokes about the same country over and over again. Is all foreign television like this?

  • @jimjob28 I tend to agree with you. Granted, Clarkson rips on everyone, but yeah he does go after Americans more than most. I'm not at all a flag waving patriot, but I agree it does get old after a while. I can take jokes as well as the next guy, but sometimes when you hear the same old shit over and over again, it starts to get old. I dig this show, but Clarkson seems to be very very Euro-centric, especially about Britain. Oh well. I don't take it personally.

  • @jimjob28 Especially the American Road Trip episode. Where they spraypainted shit all over their cars, and were surprised people gave them a hard time. Guys, when you go around looking for trouble, don't be surprised when it finds you. That'd be like me walking into a Newcastle pub with a Manchester United shirt, and then being shocked when everyone kicked the shit out me and threw me onto the street. Don't be an asshole and then act like a bitch when people act like assholes back.

  • @jimjob28 It's penis envy. That's what it is when it comes down to it.

  • I think why they always cast the Brits as bad guys is because....they are so damn good at it! Like Clarkson said, the cold, calculated, smart, villian.

  • I loved his voice is manhunt

  • I Don't Know what people are talking about Brian Cox's performance as Lecktor was simply brilliant, his Hannibal is a most intelligent and frightening one, superior to Anthony Hopkins' campy portrayal of Hannibal in the other versions

  • brian cox rocked in 25th hour

  • He played Agamemnon in Troy :p

  • The reason all bad guys are portrayed as British is because of the politically correct movement that got started in Europe prevents the studios from portraying the bad guys as who they really are.

  • Hey TrilogyofC...Ill meet you anywhere anytime and smash your fucking ugly mug in! You are obviously an english BASTARD! Just drop your name and address off heer and Ill pay you a visit...

  • i love to talk all bad ass over youtube it gives me a sense of manliness....

  • Why is he suddenly a "Brit" because he´s SCOTTISH? ...and if he´s english, well he´s of course english! ya english bastards...

  • you retarded prick you should of been shot a birth you fuckin inbred

  • Scolar Visari!

  • I was hoping to hear his voice. But no.

    Still.. he's cuwl.

  • We will unleash such TERRIBLE VENGEANCE!!!!

    :D

  • @SSUstufRudel Hail Helghast!

  • Brian cox is nowhere near the great ANTHONY HOPKINS

  • You're right, Brian Cox is WAY better.

  • I thought they both played their roles as Hannibal Lecter quite well.

  • Cox is a great actor. But when people think of Hannibal Lecter only one person comes to mind.
