  • I know you

  • He is SUCH a WONDERFUL singer!

    Also a very attractive man.

  • so different from CD version. CD version is great, but this is just soso.

  • Soul by Seal (2008) is a classic album; one of the greatest jazzy cd of the last decade;

  • This is decent, but nobody can touch Teddy Pendergrass.

  • i am suprissed how this song sounds much much much better with Seal, he is incredibly better, he should cover more 80s

  • I prefer simply red version

  • well-endowed body

  • I have to admit, that as much as I love the original of this song, I absolutely LOVE Seal's version. It moves me down deep like few songs do today. I do wish the sound was better on this video though. It loses something.

  • horrible audio.

  • Yahoo's version sounds much better,--this one sounds off. Almost hard to listen to. I just listened to Teddy's version and I like Seal's equally as well. Teddy's voice has more texture and overall is the more powerful. Seal,on the otherhand , seems to strip the song down to the bare bone and makes it even more personal. Also, Seal goes for that high note and holds it there on the part --"when we don't see eye to eyeEEEE!" Well done. To be honest, I connected more with Seal's version.

  • aMazing!!!!!!

  • simply red do this before seal?

btw it's almost similar with ciara song's never ever in the chorus ^_^

  • Awesome song!

This singer is the best! :D!

  • this is fantastic!

  • Seal is very good singer and seems very likeable and I dig his wife and all that good stuff. But c'mon now. Go and listen to Teddy Pendergrass' version w/Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes and come back and apologize. Seal ain't no Teddy.

  • Yes Seal does a fair job but come on he is definately no match for Teddy. Seals voice is in no way strong enough for a song like this.

I wonder what Teddy thinks of this version if he's heard Seal do it?

Simply Red does it much better than Seal.

Sorry I have to go with the old masters.

    This pales in comparision.

  • Yes, Mick Hucknall (Simply Red) does a good job. If someone said Simply Red's version was their favorite, I'd disagree, but okay, I can see it. Seal's pleasant enough version as one's favorite leaves me smacking my forehead with my palm and shaking my head.

  • I agree seal doesn't have the power to sing this one.

  • the man is simply fantatic

  • hy! this is the best version i ever herd for "if you don't know me. I hear it on the radio every day. it took me a while to find out who is the singer and now i enjoy this song whenever i want :) the best, i repeat :)

  • this is Teddys song.

    no comparison

  • his voice is amazing. i love his version of this song...

  • Man, I love this song.

  • There is a better version on Yahoo Music.

  • Of the Ronnie Scotts gig? There are many good videos of the song I have seen but none from that gig. Could you email me privately the link please?

  • What a great version of a great song

  • he is the best !!!!!!!!

  • sooooo good :)

  • simply dead (red) eat your heart out!!!!

  • I love Seal........but Simply Red brought the house down in Chile last month, singing with the same voice...check it out at (Simply Red Viña 2009 - If You Don't Know Me by Now HQ)

  • Actually is not that amazing if you have heard the album version, he coudn't reach some high notes here. Pretty good performance nonetheless.

  • I agree not his best performance but it was amazing to see him in such a small club. Frankly I would take a slightly off day for Seal over most artists best they have anyday.

  • amazing!!

  • Simply Amazing!
