The british waged the "Opium wars" against China from 1839-1842 and won. One of the spoils of the british victory was britain gaining control over the area of Hong Kong. The other spoils of the Opium war victory for the british was that britain would be allowed to LEGALLY shove opium down the throat of China.
Regaining control of Hong Kong is one redress to the Opium wars but China should also be allowed to sell all the heroin it wants legally in britain as the other redress.

Yes, resume soverginity of Hong Kong, not take, Hong Kong is part of China, it was just occupied by the British after the opium war.

China is now responsibile for the protection Hong-Kong.
Hong-Kong was a part of China until the thieving British occupied it in 1840 !

Its more of a liberation parade, like when you see the old footages of allied soldiers liberating Holland and France from the Nazis.
You can see the majority of Hong-Kong people cheering their liberation from British rule !
