  • R.I.P. Betty. You may be gone but you will certainly not be forgotten. x

  • I had the pleasure of meeting Betty in 1994. We hit it off. She was so down to earth and lovely. I now treasure 17 years of letters and Christmas cards. Lucky me. The real Betty was just like the television Betty: warm, vivacious, kind-hearted and terribly funny. The Rovers Return will not be the same again.

  • I adored Betty. Thank you for sharing this interview. Great viewing.

  • I remember watching her documentary on TV and my thoughts were "what a lovely lady". I suppose she was everyone's "Mum" on the Corrie set and knew everyone and their families. If you had a problem or needed advice, she was the person to talk to - RIP to the Hotpot Queen xxx

  • Helen Worth was feeling up the man's legs and she was chatting about the lovely Betty and she had the biggest smile on her face well too much I think R.I,P Betty Love you forever!!!!
