Might be a silly question but it just sounds crazy to me. So if you choose ret spec at lvl 10 you get them skills given to you straight away or just through the small spec?

Ret paladins seem like they are going to be a pvp class since most abilitys strike additional targets and eye for am eye is also strict. Paladins are going to either be a pvp class or a tank and this pisses me off

Also heal themselves ... bubble themselves and heal themselves instantly and fully... also with the new paladin changes with the holy power thing they get to heal themselves instantly and with no cool-down and with no mana waste... if that's not op then idk what is...

They get holy power from crusader strike if you're ret, and I'm pretty sure they're keeping a 4 sec or so CD on that.

So it'll take 8-12 secs to make their insta heal not suck ass anyways.

@croick1 Thank God I didnt level a paladin for that reason , I would love to play one. But just didnt want to Level 1-50 Without hardlies anything to use , Makes the class really boring. All you do Is Auto attack and judgement , Exorcisim when off Cooldown. Which bores me

I hear things about a move called templars verdict? i actually really want it to be true for ret paladins bearly have many dps moves and lose rotation early :P, i being a ret paladin myself, i dnt care about nerfing bubble or any of those things or heals, i just want more dps moves Comon Blizzard :P

I would suggest just whatching the videos you can and keep up, I think blizzard has something planned for retri paladins since they have been nerfed so much. we will also have to wait for cata to see what we truely get, but i do think it will be good =)

@staci123player Templars Verdict will be like Cursader strike but it will do a damage depending how many holy points you have. you can get a max for 3 holy power points. 1 point 55% weapon dmg, 2points 125% weapon dmg, 3 points 225% weapon dmg

They reduced it recently to;

1 point: 33% wep dmg

2 point: 66% wep dmg

3 point: 110% wep dmg

Now be honest 225% weapon dmg was a lot =P

I have a feeling ret might get a nice buff or a nerf you never know with blizzard. I heard they are taking away divine intervention if they do that I think they should add battle rez the holy tree. So far these talents are ok its just a little weird not have as many talent points. I really hope they give holy one more healer or utility ability.
