I agree! I think he still sounds great! Nice to see 1/4 of Brian Wilson'd band backing! :oP

    Darian, Nick, and Probyn rock!

  • Man, I love this song, and have since way before TDN, at age 9. Though it's only one tune, it taugh me lots about songwriting, and one I'd hold up to most Beatles songs. And like the Beatles, Danny's been one of my idols for (shall we say), a few years, and what I've always considered the core of TDN. Pretty frickin' good performance for nearly 45 years later, and even with a slapped-together band! Jeeze!

  • This reeks of Spinal Tap playing "Listen to the Flower People", awesome stuff lol

  • Why doesn't he lower the key.? He's straining to hit those notes.

  • I loved this song in the '60s ... and I didn't connect it to Three Dog Night's Hutton until decades later. This is why I love YouTube! Thanks!

  • very cute song :)

  • Danny still sounds AWESOME!!!!!

  • I love the way you hold my hand

    The way you understand,

The way you make me feel

    Like I'm your man

  • This was one of my all time fav's as a kid!! Loved it!!! Still do!!!!!!! Dan's the Man!!!!!

  • Thank you for filming this and for posting it. A real nugget of history, right here. Danny still sounds great after all these years. He can still make the fans howl at the Three Dog Night shows....

  • @mclauria - You're welcome! I'm happy to share the music. Thanks for enjoying the video.

  • On Hanna Barbara Label

  • one more time----Danny Hutton mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

Any day of the week and twice on Sunday

  • not everybody forgot this song

  • Danny Hutton just gets better with age =)

  • @loveyoutodeathbut YES HE DOES!!!

  • so romantic!!! i like it

  • TDN should be performing this as part of their live act.

  • I totally agree with you!

  • along with Chuck and Floyd.

  • Seniors still rocks folks. And this song is a reminder that was good music back then instead of the manufactured stuff.

  • Hmm Danny Hutton, who with the three dog night as Redwood, should have been produced by Brian Wilson, backed up here by Brian Wilson's band members. Turn turn turn right enough

  • Great version. I always loved this song!
