omg this is the home and away i remember! :( I'd finish my home work quickly after school just so I could watch home and away with my mum and sister! Then, in '03, on channel 5, this was on at 6pm and then family affairs followed at 6.30... ahh i'd give back anything to get those days back...

Yes it is funny that they all have smiles at the start, but have nothing but problems in the show. It would be better suited to an intro to an aussie version of the comedy sitcome Happy Days. Ofcourse it would be even funnier if the opening credits had scenes of them fighting and looking evil and sullen.

I'd agree. It's tried to persue an older audience since 2005, and totally lost the escapist feel about it in the process. Apart from the first half of 2008 in the run up to Sally leaving, it's been a bit crap on the whole.

Nick Got together with jade for about 2years then left to america to become a film star.

Hayley married noah then he died and then had a baby and left the bay

jade went out with nick and it turned out that she wasn't a sutherland after all as she had been switched at birth and left to meet her new family.

Gypsy married will and they left the bay.

and mitch randomly left but he was a rubbish character anyway.

Thank you so much for uploading this! This was among my favorite soaps. The last time I saw Home & Away was in 2001, but it got cancelled here in Canada in fall of 2001 and I was heartbroken! Can anyone tell me what happened with Nick, Hayley, Jade, Gypsy and Mitch? ;) Bless you!
