  • So weird to see Henry THomas at this SLIGHTLY older than E.T. age.

  • I love how you include stats from the movie your description. Saves me a lot of time cause I google everything! :)

  • @FestArc it took me forever to find this, all i could remember was the atari game in it. im so excited to watch it again! !

  • "Jack Flack always escapes."

Seriously thank you so much for uploading this. Really takes me back to my childhood when movies were good.

  • I was just thinking about this movie yesterday. I am so happy I found it.

  • This is a classic

Everyone should pay close attention ; ^ )

  • Man, almost 30 years later and I still love this movie. :)

But one minor quibble here, though: Morris and Davey say that Textronics is on the 7th floor, but the building directory places Textronics in Suite 800. Wouldn't that be on the 8th floor?

  • even dabemy colmen from 9 to 5 classic cool movie and hes been on movie i think its called short time that also like nee version by queen;la tiffi does its simluar biut differnt and titles differnt plus dabpbeny coolmens on tv seerrris shows too

  • cool ET ellioit boy and other cool actors too

  • Rewatching this movie again as an adult, this movie is about schizophrenia I think.

  • Wow...he's got a cute butt! 2:28

  • why no one cant find real russian for movies. they got accent.

  • Brings back childhood memories. Thanks for the upload!

  • I loved this movie when I was a kid. Still do now.

  • one of my all time best movie ever can watch this movie forever. never gets old. Dabney Coleman is the fuckin man.

  • This had one of the best fantasy opening scenes for a kid fantasy adventure flick ever made! Our hero Jack Flack, the bad ass leather jacket that could only be found in the 80;s, the high tech gadgets he has along with those two giant rolling dice! Best opening scene ever made!

  • It seems kind of out of character when Kim also says "Yeah" when Morris asks them if they want a "real assignment." Other than that one tiny bit, she seems totally un-into Davey's games. (in-depth analysis and critique of silly movies is how I spend much of my time)

  • Also, can you imagine what would happen if a kid was seen waving a realistic squirt gun around in a building lobby today? You'd have SWAT and who knows who else swarming the place...

  • I love how all three of my childhood enemies are represented in this one scene: Russians, Nazis and corrupt Arab shieks oh my!

  • Just a basement dwelling loner hanging out with some eight year olds... nothing out of the ordinary here...

  • 0:19 - :24 Smart.

  • The code is unbiased history.....true masonry/building manifests through respect and spiritual embodiment of the past.

Respect the dead, fuck fundamentalist posturing that cultures polarizes conditions for LUcrative wAR.

  • lol...William Forsythe as a computer nerd...he's usually known for his roles as a hard ass

  • wow he is very smooth.

  • wow...i love his tight buttocks! 2:24

  • @missyhorny1 jack flack has got back!

  • when I was like 3 to 5 years a local tv station in my country had this movie. I couldn't remember the name, but I remembered the premise kinda well. I am happy I could find it again! this movie was pretty fun to watch when I was a kid.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie!!! Thank you so much for uploading it!!! Do you know if it's out on DVD? I've been looking but can't seem to find it.

  • @corbinmichael123 try amazon and ebay and if nothing comes up try IMDB dot COM; nothing there then it isn't on DVD.

  • @GothChilde6969 Thanks for the tip! I'll try it-wish me luck.

  • @corbinmichael123 GL dude.

  • @corbinmichael123

It is on DVD, for region 1 at least.

I have a copy of it, which was part of a double feature set that also included "The Wizard."

  • this movie got me into rpg's and crazy dice :)

  • Holy crap the guy playing Morris is really the Flattop from Dick Tracy.

  • Thank you

  • Hmmm...cute butt! 2:26

  • LOVE this movie!!! I was just watching War Games and then reminded myself of this movie because that one actor is in both movies. Now I gotta find the movie to buy it

  • Do you have any idea how long it takes to track down this movie with just a childhood memory of one scene and no idea of what the title is? lol

I think I was 7 when I first saw it on tv and have been trying to find it ever since. I've only just recently started looking agian. Now I found it!!!!

  • @FestArc

What was the scene that stuck?

  • @stardappledgreen It was the scene at the end where his dad is walking away from the burning plane at the end. There were others too but that was the one that stood out the most. The other was when the old lady shoves the handkerchief in the kids face. Don't know why but when I was little it freaked me out. lol

  • @FestArc God, yes. I'm not sure, but I think I had a panic attack at that scene. I HATED that lady. For YEARS, I never looked at senior citizens in quite the same way.

  • @FestArc just went through the same thing...a good hour of quizing my friends at work and searching google for clues

  • omg!!! i thought this movie was a figment of my childhood imagination... LOL!! the mystery is solved!! i tried to describe this scene where the dice rolls toward him to people and they look at me like im crazy. LOL!!! thank you!!!

  • @dqbaby76 HAHAHAHHAAHAHA that is a crazy scene!!

  • I remember watching this movie when I was a kid, now my kids are ready to watch it. They just don't make movies like this any more!

  • Dabney's buns are lookin' good in this movie!

  • Back then, board games like that were fun, now, we have the internet to replace boardgames.

  • i LOVED this movie when it came out... i saw it in 1984 when i was only 11... thnx for the upload

  • I love how he runs in the building with a gun. Such an innocent time back then. The cop though nothing of it. If that happened today the swat team would be in their and davey would be dead. lol

  • @browns8127 I thought the same thing!

  • I SEE SPY!

  • Hey, is that Moris the sheriff in Devils regects? He looks familiar.

  • yep william forsycthe, same guy

  • In Canada in the early eighties, in Alberta superchannel a new cable movie would show ads of this film and many other films...boy it was a different time in those days..of crt t.v..now it's all hdtv..even 3d t.v..megaplex...cell phones everywhere..the no more cold war and communism..the world sure has changed..

  • oh i thought this was a tf2 movie i guess the thumbnail fooled me

    SCREW YOU

  • I once had an imagination that strong when I was a kid....somewhere I lost it when I became an adult.

  • THIS MOVIE IS A SPY!

  • This takes me back. I love this movie. Thanks for posting!

  • filmed in san antonio texas!

  • more exciting than much horror-movies

  • not TF2 this is bull shit!

  • wow! academy award for that little girl!!! THE best actress!

didn't know Kevin Smith was in this movie! Kick ass!

  • Good posting! For some reason though, the line about Henry Thomas getting turned into shredded meat with the silenced UZI has always stuck with me...just really creepy, I guess.

  • Movie is such a classic.

  • this "russians" dont even know how to speak russian. Baaad very bad USA actors

  • it seems its not the tf2 cloak and dagger tutorial XD

  • @SikorskyMH53BLCK uh no it isnt stupid. its a movie. sometimes ideas for things come from other places.

  • Jack Flack had the most badass looking leather jacket of all time, complete with retractable Old Glory parachute.

  • i love this movie and any other movies Henry Thomas ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like Dabney's butt. 2:26

  • San Antonio! This was HUGE when it premiered, seeing the Riverwalk and the VIA bus on the big screen blew us away!

  • I remember how cool i thought it was when morris took it the hard way out...lol...Ahh cloak and dagger...fraggle rock...and emmet otters jugg band christmas.life was so simpe then.

  • Do you recognize the boy in this movie???

  • I loved this movie when I was a kid!It was on HBO all the time!

I used to play Cloak & Dagger when I was a kid just like the kid did in the movie.

I'd pretend to be a spy & I'd dive behind trees or buildings pretending an evil spy was after me & it was up to me tp save the day!

    I also remember playing the

video game at the arcade at our local mall sad to say when this movie flopped, they took it away.

I was getting good at it too!

  • there is a blue spy in the beginning

  • thats cool lingo cuz that means i can assign myself the color red. ufruitsrsocreativ

  • You can't find on DVD, I just saw a copy the other day LOL.

  • @pspboy7 they have it at walmart for $7.50. It comes with The Wizard. I just bought it, but I'm thinking about taking it back. I mean, why waste the money when you can watch both movies on here for free?

  • opening minutes = any/every 007 movie ever...they all could have been 9 mins, 21 seconds :)

  • cloak + dagger is one of the best + exciting movies ever. The boy-actor Henry Thomas was better than in his famous movie E.T.

The german title of cloak + dagger is: "Ein Tödliches Spiel".

I'm sad, because this great movie we can't buy on DVD. But I still have my VHS-Original-Cassette with Cover at home.

Thank's a lot for making this great movie public again on this way. !

I love the 80's movies also!

PS: Watch Out for the movie "A Short Time To Live" with "Corey Haim".

  • No one say this is tf2 :/

  • no one say huh?

  • @MariosGuy who said it was team fortress 2? this is a movie dip shit.

  • Anyone know what Jack and the guard say to each other? I've always wondered. Other than "spaceeba" meaning thank you, I don't know the rest of it.

  • I loved this movie as a kid and I still find this movie to be awesome. I could totally relate to the boy. I was just as imaginative as he was and I still am. This movie definitely had an influence on me and it still does to this very day.

  • This doesn't look like San An., TX I saw when I was at Ft. Sam Houston.

  • im doing a project on this movie so i need to watch this video

  • This brings back some memories. Thanks for loading it. You rock!

  • I remembered it, I never expected to see it again, but I always wanted to. This was the movie that sparked my desire to be a secret agent, to get to use walkie talkies (Thanks BMX Bandits also), and have a bus pass! "Free" transport, unacompanied by an adult! Rock and fucking roll man!

    lol

I've not seen it since I was about 9?

    I hope its good!

    Thank you!

  • Thanks so much. This is unbelivable, I really liked this movie as a child and thought I would never see it again. I didn't even remembered it, but here it is! Way to go.

  • get it on dvd walmart has them ebay :)

  • Eyah I used to love this movie, funny I still do. Im Old now and I still like this movie lol

  • years ago this was one of my favorite movies thanks for uploading it man

  • ...why was one of the guys dressed as a luftwaffe officer? german officer going to a party at a soviet building? wut?

  • ah, dont answer that, i got it now.

  • Thanks for uploading I love this movie! :)

  • So, C&D uses a 2d12 mechanic, with 24 being a critical success. Hmm.

  • I loved this movie. Would be good if they remade it, but made Davey a little more independent, and used Jack as only a guide, and that he was more reluctant to be a hero.

  • Actually the only remake I'd like is for the technology and popular culture references to be updated to this time period other than that I don't think Disney shouldn't change a thing. I loved Jack he was one of my favorite characters in the movie too. It's not Cloak and Dagger without Jack and think of how awesome a video game that would be if the game developers were also the team responsible for kingdom hearts :) !

  • Classic.

  • she is Old by now. try a younger one

  • 3:26- Who is that woman? She's gorgeous! I've been trying to find out who she is for the longest time.

  • im so sorry but i dont know :(

but im one the chase ;)

  • Gimme a holler if you find out. I'm trying to figure out for the life of me why her name isn't in the credits.

  • It's a man, baby!

Check out the man hands and the choker hiding the adam's apple. Also, "she" looks about 6'2" - 6'4".

  • @redplague888 i have always wondered the same thing!
