Mashallah, I am going to fountain valley to meet with a first muslim congressman who was sworn in using Thomas Jerfferesons Quran. I didn;t know our founding fathers had a Quran. I respect them very much and I love my Islam.
I listen to his voice every prayer, he usually leads the prayer in the masjid in Anaheim, Ca.He's a very nice person and started teaching me how to read quran when I converted to Islam this past ramadan. Shaving the beard is an act of disobedience to Allah, as is expressed in the words of His Messenger !, Abu Hurayrah " reported that the ruler of Yemen,

The prophet instructed the people of HIS time to grow their beards, not the people of the entire world. The prophetic saying should be taken into consideration with respect to context, intent, and most importantly the historical context of it. One shouldn't pull a blanket of generalization on any aspect of the prophets sayings.
I recall a hadith where the prophet is supposed to have said to do so as you say to be different from the mushrikeen. This is for differentiation so the Moslems can know each other. Since the case is irrelevant in the world today, the command (which was actually to the people of HIS time) is irrelevant as well.

I think it would behoove you to first act like the prophet in his CONDUCT than his method of walking and physical features. I thought i was talking to an educated audeince so i didn't quote it. I apologise if I sounded rude. Any way as far as the quoted hadith goes, It should apply more to us in these times since we are surrounded by 'Mushriks' more than the times of the prophet. So I do not see why the hadith does not apply now.

Sayyidna Umar Al-Khattab said after being ellected as the Caliph, that he deviates from the two then the Muslims must not accept. @muslimgiga actions are based on intention if he could grow a beard then it is his duty to fulfill the order of Allaah and if not then he is not required . Cutting the beard is an act of disobedience . would you say someone can be completely righteous after disobeying Allaah.

Yes our men should have beards but just cus someone doesn't don't mean their imaan is any lower than one with a beard. And some men are unable to grow it even if they really want to.
Secondly there are many hadiths where the prophet (pbuh) has asked the Muslims to differ from the mushriks in various situations, eg. when we bury our dead the prophet (pbuh) has told the Muslims to sit so as to differ from the mushriks (which is being done till now).

The Quran and the hadiths have been recited and revealed for thousands of years no matter what time or what country you are from it is for mankind.
So the obligation of the beard is there you have to grow your beard and trim your moustache.

you have mis-interpreted what I commented now your in defensive/try to act smart mode.
Of course if your body doesnt grow hair you cannot grow a beard, the ARGUING WAS THE BEAR FARZ or NOT which you said you dont need a beard.
There is only 2 reason you are eligible to shave/not grow beard.
1- facial skin sickness
2- your face doesnt produce hair.
In all other cases you are supposed to grow a beard.
