@yorickdem lol, yeah for some reason the ultra bright red LED's have a very low viewing angle. I put in a low current limiting resistor to bump up the intensity but this one just came out real soft. Good luck with the build, this is such a great overdrive (although it is hit or miss with some of the forum guys). You should definitely use the suggested 2n3565 and I used BAT41 diodes, sounds fantastic.
@TheJakefuzz Thanks for your reply! I'm going to socket the transistor and I'm going to use a rotary switch for the diodes so I can switch between at least 3 different types. (Bat46, Bat41 (pair) and Bat46 single, and 1n914.
this overdrive has a good sound sweet and crisp.. dj rab
