show style isnt bad but ive heard some rank sounds coming from many of the random show style lines posted around youtube. To me, a quality sound is more important, than dancing around. (I march corps style, but have a lot of respect for lines that can play incredible visuals i.e. Black fire)

I can't seem to find your Round Rock line anywhere. I've seen all of those other "bitch-ass corps style" lines from texas (like Ronald Regan, Marcus, Plano's, Churchhill, LD Bell, etc.) but I can't seem to find "da best drumline n texas"

@409balla08 yall so come the louisiana shreveport. southwood we have the best band and drumline and we show slyle. i hate corp style to that y i glad i went to southwoood to the others schools in shreveport, bossier, mansfield in north desoto

You right. But it's one thing you forgot. This marching band has performed in more Super Bowls than any other band. They have performed at presidential inaugurations and they have performed overseas. You don't see too many corp bands doing that. Show style has excitement, and that's what people want.

@jruss0379 dude all showstyl bands are bascically old school military style bands with show put into it thats it. besides in a showband there is no time to work on technique anyway cause may have a battle of the bands contest during band camp so therfore they have songs and cadences they have to learn in a short amount of time but i do see and value your point

@jruss0379 its all about entertainment. these bands are not trying to impress judges. they only care about the crowd. and the crowds they play for no nothing about marching bands and what they are suppose to look and sound like. and since this comes from black culture of course you wouldnt understand it. this is something you will have to do research on. and btw their is a hbcu band documentary on youtube. it talks about how these bands got started. they're broken in to parts though

A cool line, and cleaner then this video, but still nothing compared to a lot of lines- even some high schools (not to mention Santa Clara, Cavies and BD). Go listen to Center Grove, Dartmouth, Mission Vejo, Marcus, LD Bell, Lassiter, Kennisaw Mountain and a lot of other actual top High School lines and they'll show you what drumming really is.
