  • zhis is the sexiest video on youtube

  • you get bullied in senior high school, beaten up by other douches, have your money taken and your lunch thrown to the floor, UNTIL one day you drive to school in one of those. better yet arrive late and um "hide" it around a corner when no one is watching. during recess mock all bullies into chasing you. when they arrive in the corner they will come face to face with THIS. you take aim(after you have started the engine) and fire a blank. yep they soiled their pants. now slowly drive towards them

  • Germans. Are. Fucking. Awesome.

  • question : why is there a regular panther and a jagdpanther. They have the same gun , right?

So why have these two different versions?

Is it because the slanted front and sides of the jagdpanther helps deflecting shells? Then why is there a regular Panther in the first place? ^^

  • @egoleech to answer your question the panther was a tank and had a high velocity 75mm

cannon it had a rotating turret. the jagdpanther was a tank destroyer it had a 88mm cannon the same one on the king tiger. it had more armor then the panther and was ment to kill tanks and the panther was made first on 1942 on hitlers birthday it was his present from his commanders the jagdpanther was made in 1944

  • @egoleech The 88mm gun in the Jagdpanther is too large to fit practically in the Panther turret.

Without a turret the Jagdpanther had more room for a larger gun and was capable of carrying more frontal armour too.

They did built some Panthers with a new larger turret for the Panther Ausf. F that was similar to the King Tiger and was fitted with the 88mm gun.

  • @egoleech "jagdpanther" means hunting panther. These are tank destroyers that could fit the larger bore L71 88mm cannon, where as the regular panther (because of the turret) fit only the 76mm (which was still a great gun).

  • @jangotrooper

75mm, actually but yeah, the kwk 42 75mm l/70 still was a great gun.

  • Awesome machine :P

  • WWII German AFVs kick some major ass!

  • My favorite self propelled gun in WW2.

  • Tank porn

  • fap fap fap fap

  • thanks for NOT adding music to this

  • No Excuse NOT to use correct period Tanks in Films now !!!!, thats one lovely resto...

  • Man!!!! Thats fucking awesome!!!

  • What a machine! and what a nasty bite that 88mm has

  • damn maybach you scary

  • They made some BEAUTIFUL stuff

  • is this the one from band of brothers

  • @canadiandrumer I think that was a STuG III

  • @Rangerfull3 yea there was a StuG but there also was a Jagdpanther supporting the fallshirmjager that retreated with them

  • @canadiandrumer O right, it's been so long since i've seen the series i forgot the other tank lawl

  • does anybody know if this tank has a foot throttle or a hand throttle.

  • @drod103164 I believe it has a foot throttle

  • Ich mag die MUAs besser, weil die Jagdpanther ist ok in allen außer der Fachhochschule Münster war wie sup wenig bro und er war wie ahh!

  • sexy tank

  • i love this engine sound ~!

  • awsome engine sound...

  • пацаны бросайте танки!смотрите порнуху

  • hmmmmm dear santa all i want for christmas is a 101,200ib piece of metal formed into a jagdpanther one maybach engine and one 88mm gun and one mg 34 and som e30 88 mm rounds

  • Pssstttt!!!!!!!!!!!! quiet guys........JAgdpather coming!! That's one scary experience

  • I thought, the JPanther could use both tracks for turning, one forward, the other one back wards for faster turn speed.

  • @0Turbox Yes, they can pivot turn.. but usually do not, due to the extra stress put on the final drive, issues with the drive were never completely sorted out so its safer to use the 1st gear steering radius and apply the inside track brake to tighten the turn.

  • @doktorbimmer Not to mention the higher chance of throwing a track when pivot turning, thus rendering your tank immobile

  • @panzerwolf494 Good point, thats very true.. it used a "slack track" suspension system and could throw the track if a pivot turn was made too fast or was clogged up with mud and snow. It still had much better mobility on soft ground than the M4 Sherman. thanks for the reply

  • Вот это выхлоппппп моща!!!!! Спорткары отдыхают)))))))

  • Ya know, to me, Jagdpanthers have always looked like the sports car of the battlefield...and this clip does nothing but reinforce that feeling

  • Hot damn one badass engine sound!!

  • I'm sure Tom Hanks could knock this out with his 'sticky bombs'. My Ass!

  • @1ownjoo2 Sticky bombs generally failed to work as intended and were often more dangerous to the user than its intended target.. but they sure make for great heroic scenes in Hollywood movies. They were ineffective against tanks for two reasons, they usually lacked enough explosive charge to effect the post '42 designs and second most importantly they often failed to "stick" especially to a moving tank.

  • @doktorbimmer

    Good to know

  • Coolest vid on youtube... hands down

  • Here's your sticky bomb son go put it on the that tank, F*#k off you go put it on there. I'm out of here, brave men indeed....

  • what a sexy ass :D

  • Great looking footage.

  • top speed?

  • @berkut2006 Same as an M4 Sherman, about 48km/h (30mph)

  • Petrol engine?

  • @mattmatt115 Yes, 700hp V-12 Maybach(MTU) petrol engine. most all WW2 tanks were petrol fueled.

  • @doktorbimmer Weren't Soviet WW2 tanks diesel powered?

  • @mattmatt115 Yes, the Soviets did use Diesel power for its medium and heavy tanks during WW2, lighter tanks used petrol. Most armoured vehicles still used petrol until the 1960s when Diesel really took over.

  • 0:34 Just imagine you got spotted. Next second, your dead

  • so sweet .. what a tank soo freakin cool

  • @Marko3123 It's not a tank, it's a tank destroyer. Tanks have turrets, while most TDs of WWII did not.

  • @PkayerZxz2 so the "Tanks" of WWI arent tanks because they dont have turrets?

  • @PkayerZxz2 What about WW1 tanks? most of them don't have turrets. What about tank destroyers that do have turrets? the term 'tank' is used more generally these days for any armoured vehicle, the differences in armoured vehicle types gets too complicated for most. Yes, the Jagdpanther is a tank destroyer, an excellent one and could perform well against turreted tanks in most terrains.

  • @PkayerZxz2 You missed the point completely.. armoured vehicles are no longer defined by having a turret or not.. it means nothing these days. There are "modern tanks" that have no turret at all (eg; Stridsvagn 103) and many armoured vehicles that have turrets are NOT TANKS such as Armoured Personnel Carriers and Infantry Fighting Vehicles.

  • the Luger of tanks...

  • this was one of the best tanks of WWII. It could reach speeds of up to 34.2 miles per hour (55 km/h) which doesn't sound like much, but for the tanks of the time, It was truly a fast vehicle. It also had a very formidable 88 mm gun. Jagdpanther means "hunter panther" in German. And lets just say it didn't earn the name by luck.

  • @RoyalCompassVideos

It "earned" it's name by being a tank destroyer (or hunter tank/Jagd Panzer in german) based on the Panther chassis.

  • @RoyalCompassVideos Very noisy though don't you think? And not to mention the 80 mm worth of sloped armour makes it all but near invulnerable to its opponents given the Jagdpanther had an excellent power-weight ratio which it took advantage of the Panther's gear but had an improved transmission :D

  • @kristopheraugust If you actually mean that - it is I that is impressed about lack of knowledge. Otherwise i apologize.

  • Ist das nicht Ute?

  • That`s one sweet running Maybach. That`s what I call music, nothing sounds like V12`s do.

  • Sound = win!

  • If you saw this coming towards you, you pretty much knew you were "F--King finished".

  • Wow - impressive!

  • i like the drag race maneuver at 0:53

  • @adobo777 Wow, your grandpa sure was lucky! not many allied armored crews survived an encounter with a Jadgpanther.

  • ISNT this a tank used in WW2

  • GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS

  • the beauty of krupp steel and porsche engines

  • @SuperDarkSamurai1 Not Porsche.. Maybach engines (pronounced My-BahK), Jagdpather and most other panzers were powered Maybachs very compact, lightweight and powerful series of gasoline V-12. the HL230 motor produced a max. 700hp & appox.1400 ft.lbs. torque Maybach-Motorenbau GmbH is better known for its luxury automobiles and powering the Zepplin airships. Now a div.of Daimler-Benz, its products also sold under the name MTU Friedrichshafen and Freightliner trucks.

  • @doktorbimmer

yeah, but porsche produced and made the maybach engines

  • @SuperDarkSamurai1 Porsche only produced tank engines for the Ferdinand/Elephant and a handful of prototype vehicles, they were designed and built in conjunction with Deutz (MWM). Jagdpanther engines were all built by Maybach at its own Friedrichshaven plant for producing HL230 series engines. Porsche was not a major production source, it was primarily a design firm before and during the war with much of Porsche products built by sub-contractors.

  • @doktorbimmer Most of Porsche's designs were built at the Nibelungenwerke in Austria. The Elefant/Ferdinand used Maybach HL-120 engines. The Porsche engines as envisioned for the VK-4501(P) were electro-diesel engines, but Germany had insufficent supplies of Tungsten for them.

  • @HerbertAckermans Yes, the Porsche/Duetz drivetrain was the original design, the already available HL120 engines were used when the remaining uncompleted Porsche Tigers were converted to Tank Destroyers. No further vehicles were produced, Hitler actually cancelled the Porsche drive system because of the large amounts of Copper that would be needed to produce them. Tungsten is not used in conventional piston engines or electric motors

  • sorry, but.... DEAR SANTA!!!!

  • Think of the soldiers in shit to their hips, tired, hungry, thirsty, cold, dirty and their bodies are hurting allover. No heavy weapons and suddenly they hear this sound coming closer..... The more I experience equipment from the war the more respect I get for the men who went through hell. We who are young today will never understand what these men went through.

  • @byf43 Well said and you know I don't know what i would prefer if i had to choose between being an infantryman or trapped in a tank - just the thought of being trapped there and the tank had been hit. Same goes for all men of all nations who fought on sea, land and air - for those people directly involved there is absolutely no escape from the realities of war.

  • @coveneyr Recently I had a taste of it when I got to "play" with a Leopard 1 tank. Post war, but still you get a taste of the cramped and hard interior. For sure I wouldn't want to be inside such a machine in troubled times. Later the crew took the tank for a ride at a track where I stood about 2 meters from the tank when it passed by and turned and accelerated away. I could feel the ground vibrate underneath my feet and the roar of the engine rumbling in my ribcage. If for real it'd be hell.

  • @byf43 What an amazing experience. In battle situations it must have been hell - I still wonder how someone can fight day in day out for years and come through it - well your body may but maybe your soul stays behind. War must change people so much. Best wishes to you.

  • @coveneyr Yes it must have been hell during the war. Think of the poor soldiers on the eastern front with too little weapons & ammo, heavily outnumbered. They had to take out T34's using "geballte Ladung's" & Hohlhaftladungs. They must have had nerves of steel O_O Sometimes when everyday stuff annoys me I think of the poor men who fought in WWII and suddenly my problems seem insignificant.

  • When it came to coolness, the Germans won hands down.....

The sound of that tank turning around, made me shiver.

  • @noozilander so it did in 1944

  • 1st gear, high RPMs = serious boner

  • when some thing like this drives straight at me, i would loose my mind just figuring out how to dodge its awsomeness.

    "ding"

    "It bounced off!!"

  • @Wolfenion

    stop using auto-aim :P

  • such a wonderful machine

  • By far one of the most effective tank destroyers of World War II. The 8.8 cm Pak dealt quite a lot of damage, knocking out allied tanks with ease.

  • @ThugCologne Sorry but africa was 1941 while the jadgpanther first saw action in 1944

  • The JagdPanther is the most aesthetically pleasing AFV of WWII as much as such a thing is possible.

  • Maybach powered ??

  • Belle bête :)

  • Did you see the flame coming out from the exhaust pipe? I almost had a heart attack

  • MAGNIFIQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1 owner of T34 dislikes this video :))

  • @janodespota It could have been a Sherman owner! LOL

  • @janodespota

And a Churchill owner and the driver of a poor little Sherman.

    increible el video

    saludos

  • Quality piece of kit.

It even has that leaning forward stance that makes it look like it's moving when it isn't.

  • thats a nice way to drive your kids to school and avoid traffic jams!

  • Say hello to my BIG friend!

  • UR MOM!

  • The one dude who disliked this vid was in the T-34 that was sniped by this Jagdpanther.

  • lol jugpanther

  • 1 guy is a Sherman tank commander

  • I have seen this Jagdpanther in action a few years ago, because i live in Koblenz. In the "Night of the Museum" a few weeks after the WTS got it from the restauration. In this night, they showed all the vehicles that are able to drive. This is the most powerful and wonderful engine sound i've ever heard. Almost tears in my eyes...;-)

  • I want this in my garage

  • Cant wait for the day when it is socially and legally accepted that tanks can be driven on the street and a viable alternative mode of transport just like cars :P

The first political party to espouse the idea will have my full support! lol

  • That's disgustingly awesome

  • The Nazis did a couple things right.

  • but will it blend?

  • Been on one of these, they are huge

  • rally Paris - Dakkar blitzkrieg)

  • Rated M, for MANLY!

  • 1 American(s) dislike this vid

  • The engine sounds awsome!

  • GReat restoration work. What a beast.

  • ooooooooooaaaahh deiiiiiiiineeee Muttttttttteeeeeerrr.. is das geil.! oO

  • Yeah...well kiddies, these days a little guy with the right stuff would turn the old beast into scrap metal.

  • thats not how you spell ground

  • Wow, I can just imagine a poor Sherman crew watching from where the cameraman is located......... guess they would cut out and run for their lives, as their cannon was no match to the 88mm gun. Most impressive.

  • "Licence and registrations, please."

    "ACHTUNG, FIRE!"

  • @MrSindari lmao

  • @MrSindari why u say the 1st word in german and the2nd in english?

  • @MrSindari

    Feuer not fire...

  • elegant tank

  • why a tank w/o a spinning turret? must've been inaccurate as hell. reply. explain.

  • @12ut5

Read about a subject before asking questions or making a statement that is bonkers.

The reason for producing an assault gun it that without the turret one could place more armour, a bigger gun, lower the costs and produce more of them compared to a turretted version of it.

In the case of the jagdpanther this was a monstrous 8.8cm L71 compared to the Panther 7.5cm L70.

It was also not inaccurate, really that is a strange thing to say, it had the same optics as normal german tanks.

  • @Dreachon

German optics were of high quality, when this was coupled to a weapon like the 8.8cm L71 led to 85% chance of hitting the target at 1000m.

The sheer power of this gun also allowed to take down a sherman at a distance of well over 2000m.

The jagdpanther still had 13 degree traverse to both left and right with it's main gun, allowing it to make changes without the need to move as long as the target remained in this field, even easier when it was firing at long range.
