I am 99% sure this was not recorded outside. Look at the grass rustling in the background. This would affect the mic. My guess is this was recorded in your home mini studio thing. Acoustics are too clean for outside. None the less, its very good.

Nice job on this cover. I don't really remember this band or song. Yes, I was alive in 1984, but don't really recall it, but I listened to a few other posts to hear the original which did sound a bit more familiar, so I probably did hear it a few times and it's stuffed away in the cobwebs of my subconscious, but you have a talent and a way of making a song your own, so nice job.
