You need to ditch the 7.5 rear end for an 8.8. The "sick burnout" only happened because of the open diff. Also, the T5 is a total hunk of shit. Look into swapping a TR-3650 if you want a manual or the 5r55s if you want an auto(which is much better for drag racing). Then get a tune, C&L CAI, one piece drive shaft, some drag radials and a 100 shot of nitrous. You'll be beating most GTs then.

I've built my camaro from the ground up, and I have respect for anyone who does that. If I lose to a Honda/Acura and they BUILT their car... no problem, but if they have no idea what they're running with... makes me wanna stab someone, but SuperSnake is right, it takes A LOT to make a 4 banger fast...

@Froggybomb I feel the same way. When I'm down in daytona for school everone here drives around in bmw's and thinks they are the shit and it pisses me off something terrible. I just got a swap and gutted my civic and I run with stock mustang gt's. I don't think thats a lot of work but granted it is more than the gt's had to do.
