For one, this doesnt account for the children, who cannot be labelled as a member of any religion until they are adults and have made the decision to join such a cult. There was more scientific progress under christianity than islam. Even so, christianity is as much of a fairy tale as islam. Neither promote science and both work against it.

Religion teaches faith, absolute 'truths', and reverance for authority. The two are polar opposites. Einstein actually did not believe in god, if you bother to look into it. But that's besides the point. There is no evidence for the existence of a god.
Your claim of peace is quite ironic given the violence meted out under sharia.
