  • U are a dick hole you male prostitute!!

  • For some advice you know how it got really hard when you first put the spray in I would take it apart do each peice and then the core then mix it up and wait for it to dissolve then you will have to wok it in for just a llittle bit

  • Try to put Vaseline on the axes and then spray some sillicone spray (atfer workin on it like 3 mins)

  • Apparently hes never heard of Working a Rubiks Cube after loobing

  • I thik thats WAY TO MUCH SILICONE SPRAY

  • no contest

  • Vaseline slowly "eats" the plastic, so you will ruin your rubik's cube if you use vaseline.

  • @kalorikalmo It's good to use to break in your cube, it will eat away a little bit of the cube, but after a couple of weeks you should clean it out and switch to silicone. That is what I have heard, anyways.

  • nerd

  • i bet you hate the one u put vaseline with

  • thumbs up if you buy a new cube and u lubricate it with glue

  • If you dont let the silicone evaporate it will make the cube more stiff. If it evaporates when the cube is assembled (like he did) It wont work well. You have to disassemble the cube and spray all of the pieces and then let the silicone evaporate. When its done evaporating just assemble the cube and it will work better

    It works for me!

  • @Thecuber111 actually it works either way. although doing it while it is assemble glue stogether, after a while it becomes smooth like the other way. and its faster =)

  • later in life, his lube tests will be slightly different lol

  • Boy , Listen ! Vaseline is not made for plastic lubrication, first off Vaseline can collect dirt by time into your cube, also it turns to annoying liquid in temperature degrees like 38 or 39 C. its only made for skin moisturing, the silicone spray is ok or you can use white grease spray or plastic grease that is used for plastic mechanism.

  • @TeDuaMalakie of course it's not for lubrication....it's just that it works...

  • @CubeFish1524 : wait a second .. i just checked my silicone spray container comes from GUNK, i draw back my recommendation for you of using silicone spray. this cube is handy and get contact with your hands all time. prolonged skin contact may cause dermatitis, on the spray can reads : this product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer or birth detects or other reproductive harm.

  • if you lube 2 different cubes, you wont be able to see the results, because original rubik's cubes are way different than any other cheap ones

  • @MINIMI95020 lol yeah...can't believe i didn't think of that before making the video... but if i buy another cube just for a video, wouldn't that be pointless?

  • @MINIMI95020 the one he silcone sprayed is a cube that is already fast

  • now i put lube on finger and stick it in hole X0

  • silicone doesnt make a cube loose. never happened to me

  • vaseline kills ur cube. it eats the plastic. in my opinion u should first use vaseline for about a month so it can eat the plastic so it becomes a bit loose, then use silicone. if u dont like the spray silicones u could always use liquid silicone. i use liquid because it doesnt smell

  • thats not a good way to lubracate wwith silicone

  • i live in malaysia so where can i buy crc heavy duty silicone?

  • the silicone spray is poisonous. careful kid

  • i just take silicone

  • yeah. you say vaseline is better until your cube falls apart! XD i go 4 silicone

  • to demonstrate which is better, u must lubricate all cubies. and u should have used the same cubies

  • where did you get that white cube?

And where should i buy crc silicone O_O

  • you can get CRC silicone spray at walmart. if you don't have a walmart where you live, then just check it up online.

I got the white cube at cube4you

  • vasaline corrodes plastic... BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice & clear.

  • thx man!

  • i did open parts off and used a cotton qtip swab with a little sip of vaseline,,,

vaseline is the best than jelly lotion

  • a big can.. like about this tall..

    lol made me laugh

  • I never said I was. o_O #

  • vaseline is actually good for lubricating but over time, it melts the plastic..

  • if you put both vasiline and silcone it will act as glue if youe start of with vasiline first, i dont know wat happens if you put silcone first but i wouldnt try

  • wat if you put both does it make it looser and smoother?

  • thank you for making this video :) hope u make more

    5*

  • i dissagree with cubefish1524 because i used vaseline on opposite sides of my cube, then cleaned it out because there was too much in and now it cuts corners at max a bit more than a 45' U face turn its great now but it might vary with u

  • Yeah, Vaseline is good for the corner cutting because it kinda dissolves some of the plastic. That's not supposed to be good, but in some ways, it actually helps the cube. Silicone only makes the cube turn smoother.

  • i like silicone spray and then i put just a little vaseline . not very much

  • dude! way too much silicon! one or two quick sprays will do it.

  • not really. it doesn't really matter.

  • which one cuts corners better cause that is all i need lol

  • none of the lubricants make the cube cut corners better.

  • lol sorry about the comment i thought u said petrolium was better got confused with the cubes but if u take the cube apart it should move much faster than that and again sorry about the comment below

  • lmao no vassaline is worse than crc the reason y it sucked for u is that u have to take the cube completely apart and the reason it was sticking was because if u have 2 plastics together and u spray silicone on it it will start to bond or super glue it together and vassaline can eat ur cube u were not getting the full effect of the crc well actualy none of its effects

  • VASELINE SUCKS IT MELTS THE CUBE!!!!!

  • vaseline eats the plastic a little, but not very much. it ills rubik's cubes, but never killed my other cubes before.

  • The vaseline collects dust and becomes a really slow goo. After a month it will suck. And the silicone spray, you used waaaay to much so yeah.

  • u should have used two store broughts or two diys. they should have been the same cube

  • i know.... ssomeone already said that

  • if ur vaseline is 100% vaseline. it will have the following ingredients....

    WHITE PETROLATUM,USP.

if not. then its not 100% pure petroleum jelly

  • The problem that you have with your DIY cube and CRC is because you HAVE TO HAVE TO shake the can before you spray. I did a comparison, with 3 squirts into a DIY cube without shaking the can, and 3 squirts after shaking the can for 30 seconds. The difference in shaking the can then spraying is about a 5x speed increase (very subjective, I know :P).

  • the only problem with this is you lubed a DIY with silicone but a sucky store bought cube with vaseline.

  • but its not like anyone would buy 2 cubes or 20 dollars just for a video that hardly anyon e would watch

  • That's not the point, diy cubes spin much better than a rubik's brand cube without any lube so lubing a diy with silicone and some sucky store bought cube with vaseline would not make for a very fair comparisan

  • oh yeah... I should have but vaseline in the DIY and the silicone spray in the rubik's brand... my bad

  • actually I dont use both of that because of that can harm my cubes, well if you know the japanese cubing kit, there is a wax inside of it and that is a highly recommended for cubes...

  • hey see how u said u can buy crc heavy duty silicone spray from wall-mart for $2 in America but i dun have wall-mart in australia well not that i know of well is there any other place i can crc heavy duty silicone spray plss i have been tryin to find out for months now!1!!!

  • try bunnings warehouse

  • i live in adelaide and i have been looking for ages aswell, no luck so far but if i find it i will tell you where i got it. :)

  • thats a whole crapload of silicone

  • silicone owns vaseline stupid

  • duh...

  • one of my friends put in silicone then after it broke in he put in vaseline and its the fastest cube I have ever seen

  • Lol nice dude i gotta try that :D

  • what would happen if you put vaseline and then spray it with silicon?

  • i think that the pieces might stick OR the silicone might not react.

it would be OK if you put silicone and then vaseline

  • ok. i'll try it out.

  • no, dont

    it sux

  • It has been CHEMICALLY PROVEN that Vaseline screws up plastic. It's Science dude. Not just trial and error.

  • ok

    i get it

    but its still good.

    lol even pestvic says so.

ITS JUST THAT SILICONE IS BETTER!!!!!

  • yes it does look on the label put it in for a year and your cube will deterate look on the label not recomened for plastic and so on

  • really? i never looked at the label lol

  • no vasilene is bad it slowly eats plastic

  • its not really that bad. I actually wipe it out after a month, and the vaseline has black stuff.

it doesn't really make a big difference. But its weird, something that protects your skin eats plactic lol

  • no it doesn't i did a experiment and i gunked up a piece of the cube for about 3 mounths and then i wiped the whole piece and there was no black stuff on it i think it is just because the cube pieces just scrape the cube
