Back in the day that video left me speechless. That was like Avatar 3D for a first time.

This game would make an awesome remake or sequel. The 2nd one was pretty cool too, you could destroy buildings and had better graphics. Didn't seem to quite capture the dark atmosphere of the first as much though.

Oh man, this takes me back to being a kid again. When games weren't censored and life was fun.

Though I rarely ever used the "shoot out the window" feature, I rather ran 'em over or used the chaingun on the roof. :)

A flying yellow cabbie with weapons, attittude and a desperate chance of survival in a world gone mad. Great combination.

And the game was ahead of it's time, it had small movies on the walls of the city, instead of just static images.

it's amazing how so many people are commenting on this and they don't even know what it is. what it ISN'T is a trailer for the movie. I had this game for the 3DO (like anybody will know what that is). it was ahead of it's time. The game is called Quarantine. It's about a cab driver named Drake Edgewater and his attempt to escape Kemo city due to a virus that has infected most of the populace. There he taxi's people and packages in order to make enough cash to upgrade his vehicle and eventually escape the city. The game is excellent, I don't know how many hours I spent playing this game. Thanks for uploading the intro, I had never seen it until today.

This one one of the first games I ever played, but could never find the orriginal, back in those days game developers advertised by sending out shareware, which if you didnt have the internet you could only get from game stores and they had a limited range. This game was amongst a collection of shareware floppies I got off a friend, had this game along with "Wacky Racers", 'Jazz Jack Rabbit" and "Wolfenstein 3D" it was named "Doom Wheels" instead of Quarantine on the label.

OMG this was the best video game ever.. This system was so fuckin good and uncensored games were awesome. But they didn't advertise it right and there were never any commercials so nobody even knew about it. but the ppl that came over my house would be like WHOLY SHIT. my cab had the rocket boosters, buzzsaw, 2 mak 10's. ahhh man.. this intro gets u so pumped up to play.

you are the first person i know of that has the same theory as i do! 3DO NEVER ADVERTISED! thats what destroyed them. i bought mine for $650, but goddamn it, it was worth it! and this was one of my favorites. ejecting passengers into a wall was awesome, and yes, the uncensorship was absolutely beautiful
