  • @JeryleenFernandez101 henna is going into the skin, not under. thts y its not permanent. supplies for henna u better get in shops with good quality henna like henna sooq or artistic adornment.

  • i used a henna cone and though i have used henna before i never leave it on long enough .. can you tell me about how long i need to leave it to develope a deep red colr and what about jamila brand henna.. thanks!

  • @fatima23reed best is to seal it with a mix of lemon juice and sugar and let the henna on your skin as long as possible. jamila is a great brand. already after some hours it gives nice colour.

  • does this hurt? (Sorry if I sound stupid im new to this)

  • @Katielovesgloss Nope it doesn't hurt at all :) It just stays on for an hour or so, and then you wash it off and there's a stain left on your hand. It's basically a temporary tattoo without the pain.

  • The art and glitter is so beautiful

  • To date, I really haven't understood the real meaning behind applying glitter on the henna? Don't you have to wash it off once it's dry? Cuz the real purpose is to show the dyed form beneath the henna, and not the henna itself. Then what does adding glitter mean? How does it help, but waste it?

    Can someone please explain me.

  • @Desi4evah It's pretty don't you think? I think so. During bridal henna parties when the bride wears the henna for hours, glitter can be put on the design to match her dress. It also keeps small children from ruining their henna design because they like the glitter. Also, glitter can be put on the stain too, using waterproof body glue.

  • @FreeHandMehndi Yeah, but does the bride go on stage with the henna on?? How does she shake hand or hug or whatever girls do when they meet each other? Does she stay there with that thing on her forever?

  • @Desi4evah I've never been to a bridal mehndi where the bride is hugging or shaking hands with anyone. Most of the time the bride sits, and people feed her, sing, dance, and have fun. I'm not talking about the wedding, I'm talking about the bridal mehndi that happens before the wedding. When glitter is applied with body glue it does not come off, but it does not stay forever, just for a few days.

  • @FreeHandMehndi Oh OK... That makes sense. Wow, I guess I never really understood the meaning behind the decor. LOL. So it's only limited to Mehendi rituals, and not for receptions and all... right?

  • @FreeHandMehndi you mean the henna is not washed off until after the wedding and all? so she would be taking a shower without washing her hands for the wedding night, right?

  • @akekif no, the henna is like a stain, it comes off eventually, you can wash your hands and it won't come off right away.

  • @Desi4evah when my sister-in-law had her henna-party for wedding she got glitter on her henna too. of course it left later, but it just looked awesome. this day is only for the bride and she looks like a queen and this glitter is a great detail.

  • @Desi4evah The main reason for adding the glitter is to encourage the person with the paste on to keep it on and to catch the eye of others. Henna artists who do festivals and such use it a lot and it works wonders on bringing in even more customers. I've noticed it makes the younger customers want to keep the paste on longer too, and so they get a better stain.

  • @Desi4evah I'm glad you asked this question because I was wondering the same thing. I've also heard of glitter henna but have not been able to find it in any stores I shop at just yet. I guess the only purpose it serves is for when the henna is drying. I like the idea of the glitter body glue being used to accent the stain once it's done though. But I wonder what kind of body glue is being used, haven't found that either.....

  • im gna try this design tomorrow, is there ne way i could send u some pix? of the finished design?

  • @desicoolchick You might be able to find them in the gallery section of my website. There might be pictures at the end of the video too.

  • hi,love it. q that black or red henna that you are useing. i have problem with black henna that doesn`t last long in my hand what can i do. i dont have that problem with the red way?

  • @giacarabello First, leave black henna alone. Black henna is bad. I do not use black henna, what you see in this video is natural henna paste that is brown in color. Once it dries, it falls off, and the color is orange/red on the skin. If the henna stain does not last long on the skin it is because the henna is bad quality or old, or the henna paste did not stay on your skin long enough.

  • Wow! Love it.....

  • Wow! Love it.....

  • really beautiful..wish i can do the same...

  • wow thanks u gave me a great idea i am going to a weding and now i know which design i want!!!!!!!

  • hi . love the desing. very beautiful. but after the henna dries and you scrap it off , does the glitter stay or as it is on the henna once removed from the hand you do not have any glitter remaining on the design.

  • @04092911 The glitter comes off with the paste. There is glitter that can be added onto the skin once the paste is removed.

  • very nice....

  • Very nice.....i am still kinda learning the designs....I have a question....i am not comfortable holding the cone...and my palm hurts after a while.....also if you put glitter straight away, won't it disturb the whole design becasue henna is wet....can you please answer this....

  • @memeethi Sorry, I was late to see your comment. I suggest holding the cone a different way, or taking a break from henna for 10 minutes and then starting again. I put glitter on the henna in this video, and it did not disturb the design at all.

  • This is awesome! Love it, like always!

  • oooww wow you are really good, i like it maybe i can ask you sth. since i see you are really good with the henna, well my wuestion is i have been traying so many kinds of henna and trying to get the black tone of them as much as i can i have used coffee and lots of other things people tell me to put on it to become black but i cant get it, is it possible to get the black tone with the henna or not??? and what would you recomend me to make it better ... thank you :)

  • @ssqrico100 I am happy you like the design. Thank you for the compliment. It is not possible to get henna black naturally, there are some hennas that are so good and fresh that the stain is very dark. I have a video on how to get a dark henna stain, those stains being dark brown or maroon, but not black, that is not possible unless you use black henna which is a bad chemical that will burn you.

  • @FreeHandMehndi hi did you wash the mehndi of first before puttng the glitter on?

  • @DARKinSKY04 No, the glitter is on the paste. Also, it is never a good idea to wash mehndi off. It should be scrapped off when dry.

  • machaallhhhhhhhhhh!! it's greatt!!

  • so, do you have youre own place where you work or do you go to the customers house and work at there home. i am curious cuz my friends think that i should try to work with henna and i have never seen any one who was that good with henna AND have there own work place.

  • @kaninhh I go to my clients homes most of the time. My office is not set up for clients to come and have henna done. Some people have home studios if they have enough room. The only spare room in my home is used for my office which is full of henna products.

  • omg wow that is soo elaborate and beautiful!!

  • hi, how much does it cost for a hand being done? and do you do allergy tests? how do I know that it will not irritate my skin? and is it only for women? Im a girl but Im just curious if it is a womens tradition because I think it was meant to be for the wedding day. anyways, thats a really fine art and I love your designs.

  • @florencelovme The cost to do a design like this one will depend on the artist. I would charge $25 for this type of design with the glitter. I do not do allergy test. I ask my customers if they have any allergies to the ingredients in my cone. I make my own cones, so I know what is in it. Both men and women do henna. It is not only for weddings, but is commonly seen at weddings. In India and other parts of Asia, the men get henna for weddings too.

  • @FreeHandMehndi Thanks!

  • So pretty!!!! You are a true artist and the detail is exquisite!! All those lucky women whose hands, arms, feet, etc. you've adorned !!! If I had just one finger with one of your designs gracing it I would count myself fortunate! Thanks for sharing and Aloha Aysha!!!!

  • @bone101ify Thank you, that is very sweet of you to say that.

  • I would like to ask what is the name of the book you copied the design from, and the designer's name, please. Thanks. :-)

  • @Alishba1107 That information is in the bottom bar of this video.

  • I wonder if you can put the lemon-sugar paste on after you put on the glitter...or is it better to wait till the henna is semi dry, then put on the lemon-sugar paste, and THEN put on the glitter?

    Loved this design.

  • @Fulumirani I find that I do not need sugar lemon syrup when I add glitter, not sure why that is. I always do one of the other, never both. I guess I could put the glitter on after the lemon sugar syrup, but the syrup does not always go on in the same pattern as the henna design, so I might have globs of glitter. I will give it a try and see what happens.

  • Can you please do a tutorial on an extremely simple henna design for the inside of the hands appropriate for school and work to complete sunnah please? It would be very useful, can find this tutorial anywhere :(

  • @tomorrowsprincess I can do that. Give me about a week and I will upload the video. There is such a video on a channel called HennaByHeather.

  • Can you please do a tutorial on an extremely simple henna design for the inside of the hands appropriate for school and work to complete sunnah please? It would be very useful, can find this tutorial anywhere :(

  • Does the glitter stay on after the henna has dried and come off? I would imagine not.

  • @zippadeedooday You imagine correctly. The glitter comes off when the paste comes off.

  • did u see how mine came out? i sent it to you on twitter!

  • @bookittey I did not :( Email it to me, I would love to see it.

  • girl, i thought i loved your other ones, but this is my favorite design so far. i'm gonna try this one tomorrow! i'll try to get it on video

  • @bookittey Cool, I would love to see it.

  • wonderful design keep it up sis

  • Yeah... I live in a predominitelly african american area where alot of MEN are super fascinated and turned on by it..lol Its sooo cute... Thas why I siad sexy lol

  • Wow this is my favorite design from you so far. You made it look simple to do. But the design itself is so beautiful. What kind of cone did you use? Or is that one you made? And how long did the actual design take you without editing? Thank you again for this video. It's excellent!!!

  • @CreativeD23 All information about products used in this video is in the sidebar. The video speed was doubled.

  • gorgeous!!!!

  • but when henna will dry ...glitter will also remove with it...isnt it????

  • @payish Yes it does.

  • What kind of henna was used for this design? you should include that in the videos description but beautiful job its lovely.

  • @onmywaytofun I included everything I used in the sidebar. I also added an annotation on the video instructing those who are interested in the products to check the sidebar because someone always asks even if I post it very clearly.

  • hey, i've been admiring your work since some time, this piece is fine as well. i have a question - when henna dries, the glitter goes off with it, doesn't it? thanks for sharing :)

  • @MsGosiaaa Yes, the glitter does come off when the henna paste dries and falls off. One of the benefits of the glitter is it looks pretty, and people are less likely to ruin their henna design because of the glitter.

  • Thas sexy

  • @snowisismoon I never thought of it that way, but I suppose you are right :)

  • That's soo pretty mashallah

  • its beautiful... love it ... deffo gna give it a try ... what tool did u apply the glitter with

  • AWESOME design! I know your relationship with YouTube is different now but how I miss the beautiful music you used to play in your videos. Thank you for your time and dedication.

  • @gnaizoh Yeah youtube is pretty strict when it comes to using music. Even if I have permission they request details. So I leave it out. My mic is broken, when I get a new one, I will start talking during the video.

  • I always loved the glitter look over mehndi...looked beautiful on you :-). I hope you do more with different color combinations.

  • @lampfriggenshade I plan to very soon. Thanks for watching.
