That is what I titled the VHS demo and script that went to the band and band management. The project was briefly discussed through an assistant and a request for a 28 min version (for MTV 1/2 hour format) was made and I made a shorten copy of the video for the mgt. Nothing happen, but I did use the script for a college course and received an "A".
@12bass Cool. I literally have just 'discovered' Cheap Trick's music. A couple of weeks ago, I knew about 4-5 songs. Now I find myself catching up on 30+ years of AWESOME rock n roll music! Seeing them in concert for the first time next week!
AGREED! THANKS! for posting this!.Saw Cheap Trick for the first time w/Robert Plant in '88(Now & Zen Tour)Plant was incredible, but Cheap Trick definitely "delivered" & warmed the crowd up for an etraordinary night! Ill never forget watching Bunny E. Carlos bang'n those skins w/ authority--he really is a very skilled drummer. The whole band was 'spot on'!Cant wait for the tour this summer w/ DL & POISON-only CT should headline!!!
Awesome, awesome and simply AWESOME! I love these guys! This wasn't so much a documentary as a retrospective of Cheap Trick's music sprinkled with some of Rick Nielsen's comments about various songs, but boy is it enjoyable! One day, I'd love to see an actual documentary of Cheap Trick; their origins, some personal tidbits about the members and some of the trials and tribulations they have faced along the way. Until then, this stuff is GREAT! Thanks for the vids, 12bass!!
When it's a Cheap Trick documentary, then it's a ROCKumentary.
