I have to disagree in part. Yes you need an edge. I am a musician and I occasionally play at a local outdoor eatery. My edge is my music. I dress very casually (shorts, sandals, ballcap, Margarittaville Teeshirt) and the BEST way i have found to attract the woman you want is to engage in a small, non-threatening conversation with her and then COMPLETELY ignore her after that.
