I think this is by far not their best performance, but they definitely peaked around that time - musically seen. Their shows might have become even bigger, but they made the best performance back then. Look at the new Reading videos - they couldn't play most of the old songs so passionate like back then.

Have you ever listened to Freddie Mercury interviews - he often disliked touring because he just didn't enjoy or feel the same playing their hits every time. That doesn't mean Freddie 'peaked' earlier, and likewise, Muse are real people and move on to different music. And different can never be worse, that is why we have the word 'different'. Neutron Star Collision is just a very low quality song. The lyrics are extremely generic, and it's one of the most straightforward things Muse has done (which is never good). I was honestly so disappointed when I heard it.
