This is why I lost interest in MMA. As good as they rate Kawajiri, hes so outclassed here. One of the best MMA fighters made to look like an amateur. Watch MMA and most fighters are at this level of striking. Sloppy overthrown punches, no balance, punches and kicks never have any snap to them. Its all haymaker after haymaker. Watch K1 if your wanting to see actual skilled fighters.

In 2009 he absolutely schooled everybody. Destroyed Askerov( who kicked zambos ass 2x) embarassed Kraus and then destroyed Yuya and Souwer in the finals... In 2011 he has already beaten Sudsakorn and Cosmo Alexandre..Where as Zambidis barely beat gogokhai( lol) and askerov

Like Buakaw, zambidis is just an overrated club fighter and his managers and the judges of the w5 event made it that barring a ko he would win no matter what.. Where as Petrosyan after the 2010 k1 max beat ( in 2011) Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee and Cosmo Alexandre. Buakaw is fighting bums and Petrosyan is fighting top guys. Buakaw isnt even on his level!!

Exactly! Which is why Kawajiri is the crusher, his brutal GnP. He wanted to give K1 a try to improve his stand up, he's always been willing to stand and bang with anybody but it doesn't always work out for him IE the Fight with Gomi and Alvarez. fighting K1 is kawajirir's way of becoming a better fighter. You wont find a lot of MMA fighters willing to step up and face Masato in K1.

Kawajiri did very good against Alvarez?? Although Kawajiri dropped Alvarez once and landed some descent shots, Alvarez owned Kawajiri in the standup. He hurt Kawajiri on numerous occasions and dropped Kawajiri 3 times. Alvarez doesn't have a good chin but he has fast recovery that makes up for it.

Kawajiri's hands are overrated. Even his ground and pound is overrated. You have to got to be an absolute noob to think Kawajiri has heavy hands. Kawajiri gave Masato an easy win.

Hah! I just love Masatos fights. Very often fighters who looks bigger and stronger try to overpower him. It looks like a beast after the knight.
