Either that or they will need to be dismantled. Israel has a long history of dismantling towns and villages - going back to the peace with Egypt, where Israel dismantled and distroyed every single town and village in the Sinai and gave it back to the egyptians - an area which is much bigger than Israel itself.

The option that the settlers will continue to live where they are under Palestinian rule looks more problematic. I think that they will be a target for constant attacks from Palestinians.
