To all those that think Evel should have used a Dirt Bike. Evel said there were no dirt bikes with enough power. Remember this was the 70's and dirt bikes were not as evolved as they are today.The suspension and power wasn't there.Evel also felt he could control a heavier bike in the air as it was what he always rode.

It's beyond comprehension how this guy never quite got it right when it came to picking up the right bike. Had it used something like NOT A HARLEY it would have landed safely so much more. The Harley Davidson is a wonderful moto no doubts about it, but it cannot possibly work for this kind of stunts. Evil Knievel proved it over and over.
