  • im jodn

  • does anybody know the name of the instrumento song being played at the beginning of this clip????????

  • @fullermrff Yes sir it is 'Greensleeves' Supposedly written by Henry VIII (or Vaughn Williams)

  • @rjun67 wow,thanx...what a beautiful song

  • A day before Ringo's birthday!

  • Nice depiction. What I would give to have been at the meeting of those 2 minds.

  • whats the name of this movie?

  • @JBxTHATGUYx007 "Nowhere Boy".

  • and the two great talents become in one¡¡¡ the best of the best...=)

  • Wow, was really John such an asshole when he was young 0.o ?!

  • I Can't believe Ferb got the part as Paul McCartney

  • @Bobzalot1

    It's Called "Nowhere Boy"

  • what's the movie called? :)

  • How cool is this meeting between two legendary talents?

Lennon- "tick tock, gotta go rest for our evening show" blowing off Paul.

Paul- tosses off the perfect audition like it's nothing, then cool enough to handle John being an asshole.

What's the odds this ever happens again?????

  • i'd rather watch this film 10 times than to waste my time to that twilight shit series

  • what is the movie called, sorry, I don't know it

  • @kitteljo dude nothing to be sorry about mate, the movie's called "nowhere boy" it was released last year.

  • john is suppose to be playing 4 strings

  • 2:30 And history was made!

  • Wow I want this movie!!!

  • This is from the movie Nowhere Boy. Very good film, really enjoyed it, I had rented it from red box sometime ago not sure if it's still there.

  • somebody with a Real Big Money push this jerk Ron Paul to Presidency...

  • It's a bit rose-tinted, I think, but interesting. As it's about the Beatles, I'll watch it.

  • Whoever these actors are, they are DEAD ON as the Quarrymen. Well done, young people, and thanks for caring enough to get it right. ---------------- A Beatles fan from 1961

  • Is this really Happened?

  • What the heck movie is this from cause I really wanna see it?!?!?!?

  • @rocknrollkatie Yes, it happened in July of 1957. Maybe not word-for-word, but it was at a Church social in Woolton where all kinds of acts were hired for the day. They usually had good turnouts, as something was there for all ages, and The Quarrymen were hired by the Vicar for the teenagers, and the rest, as they say, is history. This IS where and when, by all accounts I've heard and read, where John and Paul first met.

  • i don't give a fuck about pizza just get to the video

  • @rjun67 isn't The Quarrymen supposed to preform Railroad Phil and Be-Bop-a-Lula?

  • pink carnation.... doubt that Paul wore that on that day...

  • COOL!! So, they met 10 days before I was hatched!!

  • there are a few errors in this movie

    1. when Paul played 20 flight rock to john he used a Right-handed guitar upside down

    2. john didnt played magie may on his first gig.

3.His aunt mimi was strict but not like this

4.Julia didnt teached john to play banjo, she teached him to play Ukelele.

5.When george played Raunchy to john He didnt used johns guitar, he used a guitar of his own. -They didnt show when they meet ringo- - Still is a great movie and I will buy it -

  • @jjadiel2011 YOU ARE RIGHT MY FRIEND!!!

  • @jjadiel2011 There is a couple of errors in that comment.

    1. There is no such word as "teached"

    2. You can't say "didn't used"

    3.Or "didn't played"

Still is a great comment with interesting points and I will like it.

  • @theyodaclub -.- who u are? my english teacher, If I have a couple of errors

    I simply dont care :D

  • @jjadiel2011 Yes I am your English teacher lol. But I was just having a laugh. I think you should point the good things out rather than the mistakes. Happy Flighting :D

  • @theyodaclub Ok Teacher next Lesson is Next week on a Michael Jackson video xD

  • Comment removed

  • @jjadiel2011 Didn't they meet Ringo in Hamburg? The movie ends before they leave for Hamburg so technically that's not an "error."

  • @QuentinKT I know But What I meant was that they should add that scene :)

  • @jjadiel2011 Well aren't you a smart ass

  • @RazzleDazzle9410 I just gave my opinion

  • @jjadiel2011 Paul was playing a right-handed guitar in this clip you can tell because the pick-guard is on top...

  • @jjadiel2011 That is a right handed guitar turned upside down. Notice the pick guard is up top. And Julia taught him the banjo. That's pretty well documented.

  • @jjadiel2011 He's using a right handed guitar here, the pick guard is on the wrong side.

  • @jjadiel2011 2 errors man look it up

  • @jjadiel2011 You know a lot! :) But it's still a movie of course, not a documentary. It's worth the buy, I love this movie.

  • @Qlaarzy2 Its an amazing movie :)

  • @jjadiel2011 Absolutely! :)

  • @jjadiel2011 they do not meet ringo until a couple of years after this movie ends

  • @jjadiel2011 well done you.a true Beatles fan like me. now imagine a monty python style skit where paul plays trumpet for john instead of the guitar which he traded his dad's gift for. ;)

  • @jjadiel2011 RINGO? he not in ther movie its like 96 or 97% right

  • I never meet no Paul McCartney when I was a teen, guess that's why I still sit here.

  • I WANT THIS MOVIE

  • I'm sorry but why is Paul like 7 years old in this movie?

  • Fictionalised efforts of real events like this are cock-suckingly naff. It's reminiscent of the Viz.

  • thumbs u for the who logo at 0:03

  • Thank God for Ivan Vaughan

  • as a bit of a stickler when it comes to films about the lads, i wasn't expecting much from this one.

i was pleasantly surprised and quite impressed with it.

    a good job, indeed.

  • Maggie mae !! lol, Whats the song what 'Paul' plays ??

  • @Loky1940 Twenty Flight Rock

    Danny

  • @Loky1940 Twenty Flight Rock

    Danny

  • @Rardjuh11 He played it left handed. Paul couldn't play right handed

  • @Appleholic1 of course, mistake by me.

  • 20 flight rock (Eddie Cochran)

  • the song of paul is... please tell me

  • I remember seeing this on NBC here in America. I never knew that there was an unedited version of this.

  • it looks and sounds real.

  • Wut movie is this?

  • @111019951 Can't you read other comments?

  • the accents are the best bit ;)

  • If you squint, it looks like them. Lol, try it out

  • didn't they play this song in Let it Be

  • McCartney did not bring his own guitar. He said so himself.

    The interview on ziekeppler.

  • If I were to have a time machine and chance to go back to 3 different times in history, the day Lennon and McCartney met would be one of them.

With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

  • Awwwwwww poor Paulie :(

  • The fact that it is the lead from "Kick Ass" playing Lennon makes this... intriguing.

  • @DarkeningSkies1 Also the fact that the boy who plays Ferb on "Phineas and Ferb" is playing McCartney.

  • this movie is historically inaccurate john didnt know how to play the guitar that well george said he only played with for strings when the first started playing together

  • @jmead19 Yeah, John's guitar was missing strings when George met him. And Paul has said that he had to teach John chords because John only knew the ukulele chords which he learned from his mother. Also, there's never been any indication that John was an asshole to Paul, or that they were anything less than equals when they met (Paul is the very definition of an extrovert, I can't imagine him ever being shy).

But, it's just a movie, and it's meant to be entertaining.

  • @superman11978 he only knew BANJO chords from his mom

  • Fucking do it then.

  • That the boys were breaking up, I actually fought back tears,

  • That was very good, except you know all along that it isn't John or Paul. Not much you can do about that, though

  • thanx a lot

  • "What about the time we met, well I suppose that you could say that we were playing hard to get"

  • whats the song paul plays to john?

  • @crash2cute 20 Flight Rock by Eddie Cochrane

  • can i know the title of this movie??pls,.. thanx

  • @snakewater1977 nowhere boy

  • @NoelCorado0921 yes, that moment made history in music.

  • paul was 15- how old was john?

  • @icantstopchewinggum John Lennon was 16 at that stage. He would have been 17 in another three months

  • @MrBillyhedge oh ok. thanks :)

  • whats the song that paul plays for john?

  • @AlexRam97 twenty flight rock

  • Yes it's called Nowhere Boy. it's on Channel 4 this coming Sunday 9pm

  • @rjun67 Shoot I missed it.

  • @rjun67 ah shit i missed it

  • it's a movie?

  • @omarengo, John wanted to look (and be) like Elvis when he was young

  • mostly an Elvis interpretator then John lennon

  • john's mother in this is FUCKIN SEXY

  • "I'm John"

    "Paul"

    Goose Bumps!

  • I loved Nowhere Boy but I believe that the song John was playing when Paul saw him was "Be Bop a Lula" not "Maggie Mae"...

  • @fifiesponja07 no it was maggie mae : )

  • it was 1957

  • Yes, NOWHERE BOY

  • Is this from a movie?
