@gjw000 Not quite. You have to exit to the left well before the Kingston bridge to join the outer carriageway of the M8 (where the M77 merges in), and from there, the two right hand lanes become the new M74.
With this M74 extension in place, Scotland now FINALY has one proper and complete motorway. Now all we need is the M80 finished, and then a big pot of money to turn the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh into a 3 lane carriageway (like it should have been built - not this substandard dual carrigeway).
