i just finished this mission. but guess what? i did it on single mission! so it didnt let me go to mission 3 and i was so angry and i had to do it all over again...ugh

@resongo93 yeah operation flashpoint has no loading screens at all, u can walk wereever u like to get to the enemy, so u and ur friends can choose what route suits you best.
Apparently, this game has amazing anti piracy measures. If the game detects that it's not a legitimate copy, it will make the guns work worse and worse (less accuracy and power) until you can't really use them anymore. Amazing.
i loved this game. im big on the infantry and special operations community. so im not the biggest fan of COD and all those other ridiculously juvenile military shooters. the only major thing i dont like is that its first person

Mainly because I love the realistic approach to games, Modern Warfare, Black Ops, whatever are all stupid, in their Veteran difficulties all it is is more grenades being thrown and no reaction time whatsoever, like there was a checkpoint where I died as soon as it loaded because I wa greeted with a shotgun to the face every single time, its stupid, but this was superb, fuck Call of Duty!
then again what do you expect, comparing call of duty to ofp is like comparing ace combat to lock on. the studios just wanted to give gamers what they wanted, so really they just produced the game to be all assault the whole way through, and they give the player regenerative health to play on. gives them replay value and simply constant action. what you and i both seem to like is the tactical side; the true side of modern combat.
@kchuk Medal of Honor multiplayer was atrocious. But the single player was, I think, one of the best single player games in a long, long time. The weapons in MOH were superb.

this game was ok They need to improve the enemy AI and especially the AI of squad members. I really felt like i had to take down entire platoons on my own sometimes. they also didnt respond to commands on some occasions. Its very realistic and there is a good since of accompilishment after missions. overall this game gets a 7/ 10 from me.
i have a lot of questions. first of all is this game realistic to where if you get shot once your almost dead? also is it open world where you have a lot of different ways to complete one objective?
@fagoteer This game is probably the most realistic one since the original ghost recon games. If you take a solid shot to almost anywhere on your body you can bleed out and die if you dont order your squad to fix you up. As far as open world goes, this game is massive there is literaly miles you can explore, if you want. And missions arent linear you can come at objectives anyway you want to and sometimes in any order you want.
the AI in this game is stupid one time in the mission united as we stand i was taking cover behind a dead soldier then suddenly out of the blue an enemy soldier runs over to the body that i was using as cover and then starts taking cover behind aswell an then he starts to shoot at me and he does not even hit me once and he is like 1 meter away from me either he was a retarded chink or he was a blind chink :P
i know this is a little far for this game but does it have an SA80? cos im british and not used to US standard rifles i know the British SAS use the M16A4 but not the British army. it also should of been splitscreen :( i want this game :D

This game had great environmental graphics, i just think they could have patched up a few things:
1. Character models were a bit polygonal.
2. Voice acting was sub-par.
3. Audio in general. More ambient noise (natural surroundings, etc)
Everything else was greatly enjoyable. The island was amazing visually and just in pure scope. The "missions" were enjoyable, some a little over the top, but better than COD.
i have a question, why did you make all the other optics in the game other than sniper rifles fucking shitty? i did a mission in the designated time with alright optics but with those crappy marine red dots and crappy acog scopes i couldn't see the enemy to shoot at them
This game was supposed to compete against Arma 2, it lost that battle, but it's pretty realistic for a console game I guess. Still, Arma 2 wipes the floor with this game :P

I played the demo version of this game and I kept the game saves I got up to so far 'cause I just knew I'd buy it sooner or later.It is slow but to me that makes it more realistic and one shot kills and i first thought no way thats too difficult but I'm fed up with games that don't last long anyway. Oh, I almost forgot, you only need one kidney to live, dumbass. I would just blow your fucking head off with a messy 20 gauge shotgun.
This game was a bore to the extreme, and barely had anything in common with Operation Flashpoint, which is still one of the greatest war PC games ever made.

Does anyone else think that it would of been cool if they had a training mission? Like you go through boot camp, and spec op training just not as long as the real one.

I found this game to be surperb! Mulitplayer was kind of a bust, but singleplayer was fun. The actual 24 hours day time in-game was fun to watch when you play the longer missions. I actually spent 2 hours on 1 mission, that's how awesome it was

I love it and I hate it. I love the realism and intensity but get pissed off when a random bullet catches me in the face for the two seconds I poked my head out from behind a wall

I played the demo version of this game and I kept the game saves I got up to so far 'cause I just knew I'd buy it sooner or later.It is slow but to me that makes it more realistic and one shot kills and i first thought no way thats too difficult but I'm fed up with games that don't last long anyway. I've a feeling this is going to be a replayable game.

if you get shot 1 time and die then why you cant snap to a wall instead of walking to it and keep pressing the crouch button, its better so you can see whats over instead getting the player even more catious of whats between you and the other side of the wall, even being too much careful you can get shot, im just sayin.

This game doesn't suck because it's too slow, or not enough like COD. This game sucks because it has idiot AI, a collapsed multiplayer witg bugs and glitches and a shallow single player experience.

@HitmanOnAcid1 You dont know anything about war. This is not the pace of war. What really happens is you get pinned the fuck down by unexperienced, enraged soldiers and have to wait on a barren landscape for air support or extraction, or you stick your head out and get shot. And no fucking shit most targets are in 200 meters.
If I met you in real life I would stab you in the fucking kidney and let you die slowly. Get off my back, this game sucks your small dick, and you know it.

@hornet579 I said most contacts are past 200 meters, not in. The only time you would find close contacts is in urban warfare. What you described never happens. Soldiers are not untrained, rebels are untrained. Soldiers would rarely be willing to suicide charge anything. Plus, what fucking dumbass would lead a platoon onto open barren landscape. Oh, I almost forgot, you only need one kidney to live, dumbass. I would just blow your fucking head off with a messy 20 gauge shotgun.

Must say this is superb I often play it during the winter with my mum and dad they are awesome at it. I actually got it perfectly free for my ps3 here: 115 games. com they have thousands and they are all totally free also I must say 1:33 2 2:43 was fine

I found this game to be surperb! Mulitplayer was kind of a bust, but singleplayer was fun. The actual 24 hours day time in-game was fun to watch when you play the longer missions. I actually spent 2 hours on 1 mission, that's how awesome it was

No one is going to interfere with your boring "gun and run" franchise. OP FP actually make the player use a bit of tactics to complete the mission. I know...it makes you have to think.
