Metroid Other M Intro / Opening Cutscene ( HD )

I like the idea of taking the usual Nintendo game and changing it up by giving voices to the characters. It's something that hasn't really been done in Nintendo game.

Can't wait to buy this game as i love the metroid series. For some reason i'm disappointed with how motherbrain looks/sounds in the cutscene. It seems like just any old monster. In Super Metroid i used to shit my pants at MB's 'freakyness' and sfx.

Meh I'm sure the game will still be fun.

Hey, here's something I noticed, (granted, I love this game, and I don't care what anyone else says; you're not going to change my opinion no matter how hard you try, or how much you insult me or my 'intelligence') when Samus faced Mother Brain in the actual Super Metroid game, wasn't her armor supposed to be purple from getting the.....Gravity Suit? Or was it the Varia Suit?

@MyGamer125 It's pretty clear Other M is a retcon. Not only should her suit be purple, but it should look more like the Prime/smash bros. version. I think he wanted to make the game "more realistic" so the gravity suit into a feature.

Oh no the wonderfully droning voice of Samus is amazing...not really. Did the voice actor, who was chosen, do a little favor for the developers to get this role? at least choose a good voice actor( like Laura Bailey). This game looks pretty but come on voice acting the thing they bragged about on the cover" We have cut scenes with real voices". So you pic the most drab voice and make her monotonously speak the lines of dialogue. I this because it looks pretty, but re dub it in my own voice.

Wow... The baby simply loves Samus... and it is always saving her..

If you played Metroid where it first appeared it opened a way through so samus could get out of the planet, in super Metroid (this scene) it saves samus from mother brain, in metroid fusion it saves her when they injected her with the metroid serum so the x parasites wont kill her, and also in fusion (i dont care if you think the baby clones didn't attack her because she was "genetically" a metroid) they drained the SA-X.

@rurounirgc Actually, the Metroid's attacked SA-X because it was the form of an X-parasite, the Metroid's main prey. The Chozo created the Metroids just for that reason; hunting the SA-X, but things didn't go according to their plan, obviously. Metroid nerd, I know, but SOMEONE has got to know this stuff, and I don't regret that I'm one of them.

i'm disappointed, samus is a lone ranger. If anyone ever played the original metroids we all know that. Have you ever read the booklet that came with the NES version? Was there anyone in Prime with Samus? No, just her and the world. I think this game lacks the real genuine "raw" feeling of metroid. I've always pictured metroid as scary and dark. Not like Halo. please.

I rate this game a 9/10 these are beautiful,realistic CGI cutscenes and its balenced amount of puzzles and third person shooting very good game one of the best of 2010

Cried in the Early 90's when the baby sacrificed itself for Samus. Watching it in photo-realistic graphics was no less moving and reminded me how inspired I felt to destroy Mother Brain after that.
