Great interview, Marsha is on point. When Floetry blew up I remember I met Marsha's very hard working father and I had to tell him that Floetry were such a creative force that had burst on the music sence. The Floetic sounds of Natalie Stewart continues with her new solo album 'Floetic Soul" by The Floacist (Shanachie Ent) with guest artists Musiq, Lalah, Raheem. Nice. May both artist continue to grow and shine.

Oh no! - I didn't know Floetry broke up! I've been in a Floetry kind of mood lately and have been listening a lot to all their music. I came on here to see if there were any live performances posted. They are both talented. Ones voice is beautiful and the other one's spoken word/rap has a nice flow and is thought provoking and meaningful. i.e. Like their song Sunshine - which the singing and the words always move me so much emotionally that it brings tears to my eyes every single time !

Initially I was hurt n upset about the split n rumours got out about Marsha not wanting Natalie but another girl to take her place. I'm happy 4 both of them but its still emotional 4 me 2 think that together they set the Neo-soul movement off with a soulful poetry blend of sensual, earthy rhythmic vibes by soul stirring n thought provoking lyricism...Definitely Butterflies and Say Yes were two of my favs! The industry does not tolerate groups anymore. Think about the 90s, you had so many groups. Today it just does not work and don't even count those "groups" that do solo projects. You may name Boyz II Men, but even they lost Mike. The era of greed and the solo artist is upon us. Now we deal with collabos and featuring... and occasionally they perform together!
