Maya (aka M.I.A.) did not make this video, only the song. Anybody could put any video to any song. Maya's original video shows her selling bread. Not at all terroristic, it is just a song about coming to America to make money. Bombs, weed, murder, piracy etc are probably sarcastic references to her immigration difficulties, including the sarcastic remark about making visas, "if you wait she will make you one in a second." This is a song, not to be taken literally.

THe kind of problems occuring in Sri Lanka are hard to define....it can't simply be branded as "terrorism"...its a civil war! Which begs the question...at what point does use of arms and force become an act of terrorism?...especially when ppl (i.e. the so-called "terrorist" tamil tigers) are looking for political independence? The whole labelling and use of the term "terrorist" is so subjective.
