  • A near drowning took a way or it may have been there before the near drowning at age six, but, the rewards system which helps enjoy things like a candy or doing something fun wasn't there as a kid. There are only a couple of things I can't emotionally connect with causing me to desire it or have to have it.

  • Yes, I would agree with this concept. It fits into my childhood life, my lived in denial of my mental state, I was free to do as I pleased which most of my time was spent outdoors. One thing I would change with therapy for Autism, take the child outside as much as possible. (The Roloff Farm in Oregon owned by Matt and Amy would make a perfect place for children with Autism. They would get to experience the change in the season and be able to explore fun, excitement and pain.)
