The lovely old ANZ building we made this video around was flattened by the Feb 22 2011 earthquake that struck Christchurch. Check the video I did a few minutes after the shake. Also a guy in Greece has put a montage together tha features a great shot of the building in it's former glory.

Excellent stuff. I only discovered the Bats and Chills since moving to London 5 years ago. I was Dunedin born and raised but moved to Wellington as a teenager. I remember HMV in North Dunedin with the Soft Bomb release posters in their front window but I was probably into metal at the time. Just happened to be searching for homeland music and come across all these great groups. Thanks

@rickface13 Okay, I see. Yeah, Springfield is pretty rich in history, but dead in culture and excitement. Most of Illinois is pretty rural. Real pretty at it's best, but downright primitive and empty at it's worst. Chicago is the monster shit. I have never been to Vegas. I am told it is a great city. Good luck in your future! Perhaps you can talk your family into moving somewhere cooler than Springfield, like Rockford or just about anywhere else on the planet.
