this clip is total bullshit; they quoted the Australian newspaper The Herald Sun, I read that article the day it was published and it was not titled that nor did it reference Betelgeuse.
I have seen the second, what ever you want to call it. man it was on the left side of the sun. The sun was partly covered by clouds and I could see the left side of the sun and there it was it was like looking at the full moon but only double the size it was huge only saw it for a couple of seconds until the clouds let the ray of the sun through and then I couldn't see any more.
