Michio Kaku is a fraud. he doesn't even know that 1 plus 1 can be 4 if you break each 1 in half. Or you could put 1 and 1 together and get a big 1. This means time and mass is going backwards and forwards and is standing still at the same time. Just get rid of that 1 plus 1 equals 2 cliche... it's old logic based on old logic. Logic never helps. It is bound to rules. There are no rules in the nature of the universe. If there were it wouldn't allow itself to exist in the first place.
it pains me when people such as Mr. Kaku and others of his ilk speak of cosmology............they've no practical experience...........they need to stick to what they actually know
Awesome. I like the way he explains such complex concepts using stories and metaphors. Did anyone read this book called Radio Multiverse. The writer basically uses this idea but in the novel a simple radio picks up broadcasts from other universes. I like that idea! Waiting for it to happen on my radio
Hindu theology postulated bubbles of universes thousands of years ago: " The Visnu in that gigantic form is sleeping within the water of that Causal Ocean, and by His inhaling and exhaling, breathing, there are bubbles. And those bubbles are manifested as universes."
@johnson1095 Spiritual Dimensions= ignorance! There has been evidence for a soul, spirit, or consciousness! These are philosophical notions that cannot be proven whatsoever! The multiverse idea on the other hand might appear to be philosophical due to our current technology but it also can be tested within the next 50 years or so due to our constant changing technology!
@FallofDarkness55 In other words you are threatened by it and are close minded. Youa re just like a religious person that does not want to grasp another reality. You are not a scientist, you are just a dumbass and people like you are why the human race doesn't advance to its potential.
@GuardianAngel5150 "you are just a dumbass and people like you are why the human race doesn't advance to its potential." How about fuck you and leave me alone. I didn't ask for your two cents idiot!
Wouldn't an infinite number of "universes" mean that there is at least one where some sort of intelligence, like us, exists and is capable of interacting with us?
@thedoctorthemaster You might not want to hold your breath on that. From what I can find on line the LISA system isn't due to launch until 2025. I don't know where he got the 2011 launch date from but it doesn't sound right to me.
but of course the universe isn't REALLY shaped like a soap bubble, cause that's just another lower dimensional analogy.
none of these people, Kaku included, can communicate the meaning of their theories, and it's because their "theories" are physically meaningless. they still do not understand the scientific method. that's why they believe in things that a 5 year old could recognize as incoherent.
Answers in genesis have a denti.... astronomer from christiantech who says differently about what Lisa will reveal and he has a PHD in truthology. You can either take his word or the word of a satan spawn million evilutionary scientists.
has there been any further evidence for this theory? if any can link me to it i would be very thankful. i only ask bc i can only find old information about this theory.
Look at most people in history that thought " out side the box" . 99.9% of the time religious fanatics were there to claim it was workings of the devil or some other superstitious belief. I love how Dr. Kaku shows how stupid religion is. It is true whether it's Islam or Christianity, etc..... when there's critical thinking or a glimmer of hope for humanity, they are always there to stop any progress the human race might be able to accomplish.
the year is 1000000 AC. two astranoauts who traveled all the way to the edge of the universe peek into for the first time into a whole new unvierse on the other side of the big bang....one of them says's"AHH, DR MICHIO KAKU WAS RIGHT".
Dark matter does in fact exist. They know that because of gravitational lensing. Basically, light from stars is bent by the gravitational influence of dark matter. So it's there. They just don't know what it is.
dark matter does not exist mr. scientist..dark matter was invented, because when you guys calculated the mass of the universe using the solution given to the einstein field ecuations you end up with 90% (if i'm not wrong) of the mass of the universe missing .so you said "oo..what is missing it must be some matter that we cannot see" and that so dark matter was borned..when in fact you should take a look at the solution givent to einstein field ecuations because most likely the solution is wrong
@LittleSn00py hah no this is truly the only game in town when it comes to the most intelligent minds in the world. Physics and Quantum Physics don't follow the same rules.. explain that chief! That's what we're trying to find out. Science is based on the future, Religion is based what people wrote/said in the distant past. Which do you seem more far-fetched hah... If jesus said where he said back then today, he'd be in a nut house.

Wait, in the tenth dimension not only anything is possible but has happened,is happening, or will happen. That menas all posibilities must be necessiatted. That means in one Universe Vishnu actually exists, or the roman gods actually express their power. In another Universe Jesus has come back for the second time, and in another Muhamad is the real prophet and actually has valdiity.
Meaning that, wait what does this mean? Oh yeah, Multiverse theory is theoritical nonsense.
@ogirv101 A problem I see, maybe someone can elucidate: unless the other universes next to each other there will be space between them. If you put several balls together there is space where they do not touch. But space cannot exist outside a universe, can it?
Yes, that's a correct assertion. The problem i that you shouldn't ask me, because honestly I'm an ardent opponent of the multiverse theory as it has no iota of evidence. These are mere speculative assertions without any empirical basis for it, thus being pseudo-science.
@ogirv101 First of all what makes you think that there's a supernatural being that created our universe? And if that's not what you're implying then what do you believe created the universe itself? Something did, that's a fact. Our universe did not always exist, in fact our universe is accelerating outwards in all directions. If you rewind the cosmological clock, you would find that the universe started from a singularity smaller than the quark. I do believe in the Multiverse.
@FallofDarkness55 I'm Not sure on multiverse either but what i had read maybe there can never be nothing as in nothing at all. There has always been something just in different forms. But i can imagine that once there had to be nothing and some how a glitch happened creating something like 2 sheets or ribbons touching each other causing matter to exist. until they can do the maths for how and from what we will be guessing but i don't believe a super mind can exist first like god.
@gongme First of all you need to ask the deep questions i.e. what is reality?, what is space?, what is time? what is mass? Next, you need to study why these things exist! Many theoretical physicists have answered these questions with the notion of M-theory! I believe that there's a scientific reason for the existence of three dimensions plus time. Filling in god is the lazy approach! Secondly, how do you explain the current accelerated expansion of the universe?
@FallofDarkness55 Move to his why theory for that. It's what makes Kaku smarter than Hawking, he has a theory of his theory of his theory wheras Hawking just has a theory of absolute.
