  • i like the train at 11;46am.

  • I'm glad to see that we have a local Train recorder. I live in Thorold, and i'm going to start recording trains by the canal.

  • @TheTVGuy45 Thanks! There's a few others as well. I'll be very glad to see some videos from you too. It would be great for you to film by the canal. Don't forget though there's a lot of good trains in Welland and Thorold. CP, CN and Trillium Railway. I can't wait to see your videos!

  • @RailfanDaniel I might tape on Friday.

  • hey i was wondering does the Go transit system go to Niagara Falls Canada Station and go to Toronto. if it does can U find the times that would go to Toronto and and Niagara Falls. Thanks

  • @Amtrak2009 They'll starting May 21st. Just visit GO Transit's website and visit the zip down to the Falls section. Although, i suggest you don't support GO. They're planning of having permanent service out here and its severely hurting Via Rail already. Also, if you look at the definition of commuter rail. Its only supposed to serve within a city's metropolitan area. Anything outside of that like Niagara Falls is intercity rail. GO's not intended for intercity rail. Their plans are rediculous.

  • I'm pretty ticked at 331's route. I was at Bayview Bridge that day, and saw 331 on the Grimsby Sub. But, instead of going onto the Oakville Sub, it went through the cowpath. Since the zoom on my camera sucks, I couldn't get a shot of it. It had a pretty decent lashup, too! An SD75I, and IC SD70, and an SD70M-2. Anyway, good thing you caught it.

  • I hear they mat cancelling the GO train because of the Canal Bridges. HAve you heard anything?

  • @snamelloh I'd like to see GO cancel service. If you look at the definition of commuter rail. GO trains do not belong past Stoney Creek. Its just too far. That's why Via Rail should step in and expand. GO should terminate in Stoney Creek expanded from Aldershot and Via Rail should expand service with an extra train to Niagara Falls. GO trains are not for intercity rail, Via Rail is. As for the annoying Seaway Authority and the bridge. Unfortunetely, the problems are only getting worse.

  • Great shots

I will be catching the first Saturday Service GO Trains to and from Niagara Falls at CN Bayview next Saturday.

  • @RailfanWaterloo Thanks! The first train is actually Friday night. Departs Toronto at 6:20PM. This year, its Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday service. Just go on GO Transit's website and go to the "Zip Down To The Falls" section. Be good to see the first revenue service GO train in Niagara this year!

    Daniel

  • Nice catches. GO has awesome K5LAs.

  • @GenesisSanctuary Thanks! They sure do, don't know why a lot of other commuter railroads in North America aren't the same. I like the K5LA's on the cabcars the best. Im gonna miss that agressive K5LA on the F59PH's.

  • You got some nice shots by the way

  • @StCatharinesRailFan8 Thanks! It was better then a expected. I really hope you got good shots as well, hopefully nothing got in your way.

  • @RailfanDaniel I think I did. You were in my shots, but not in the way or anything. I thought I would be in the way for the GO leaving at the end.
