yo i know theres a lot of cats that had a lot of problems with the 5000 but not all the 5k have bugs I really feel bad for the cats that spend all those money and akai doesnt really back them up to fix the bugs.

I have a 'Effects engine failed to load. Checksume 2 is Invalid' error on my 5000. This is after using the effects and causing a load buzzing sound which wouldnt stop. On boot up and even after trying to reset factoty settings i get the error message and no sound generated by the machine so it is useless. Does anyone know how to resolve this and is this toy just a really bad joke as im reading no-end of problems people have had with it? I want my thousand £££££'s bad Akai. Korg never let me down
