  • It can actually. Involve hallucinations as you get older the disease changes with you and it evolves. Meds stop working etc. it's a cancer of the mind. Biological and so you can't get rid of it....ever not if it's true OCD and severe enough or treatment resistant (mine is)

  • @Elewyn cannabis calms ocd effects.. thats the only med ive ever taken for it and im getting better all the time,, obviously still have real bad days but instead of constant ocd, with cannabis it makes it a partial ocd.. where you can look at something and think fuck it i'll sort it later... OCD still has a big part when you get round to sorting it but it makes it so you dont have to do it there & then

  • So it involves hallucinations?

  • @diffnature no.. you must be an idiot to think that.. it is just a representation of whats its like... imagine you notice a wonky picture... all you can think of is fixing it & thats all your minds focused on so its like someone just standing there constantly having a go at you until you do something about it which is why we have to do things even if we dont want to

  • It should be titled "What it's like to HAVE OCD," not BE OCD. :)

  • @bloopskaya Probably meant "What it's like to be Obsessive-Complulsive."

  • autism and ocd equally skizo

  • That's not OCD....that's a woman telling a story that never ends and has no point

  • I have OCD to. I have to touch everything twice or if I touch something with my hand, I have to touch this thing with my anoher hand to.

  • really good :~)

  • this is exactly how my ocd is-_- doesnt help ethier wen am reading books for skool:/ am up hours on end cause of this shit

  • i play ocd on my Xbox...oh yeah i'm dyslexic .

  • @MrRammsteinrocks Fuck you ocd is not fucking funny people kill them selfs because of it !!!

  • @ladybirdskaterboy fuck you, first of all this isn't OCD its anal retentiveness (but the sentiment is basically the same just on a much bigger scale) second of all OCD can be extremely funny. if you don't believe me watch as good as it gets, or any episode of monk. It can also be fun to relate to others with and share awkward circumstances. Like the time I got trapped in the bathroom at a local grocery store and I couldn't open the door with my foot, and i didn't have any tissue.

  • @ladybirdskaterboy I have OCD, and sometimes I can laugh about the things I do later, I don't think that comment was meant to be hateful.

  • @MrRammsteinrocks ignorant asshole

  • Having OCD is worse than this.

  • @HeiHolaHello for some people its more serious than for others, I have OCD but not (yet) as serious as being showed in the video.

  • smoke some weed that shit help a little bit.

  • @PrettyBoySMHDave Your 12, you've never smoked weed and you are dedicated to a form of music what made you post somethin' about ganja. Am I right?

Had to say that some black guy in a dress was shoutin'

  • @The5howMustGoOn wtf? 12? dedicated? naw you'er wrong and you tripping bruh...

  • @The5howMustGoOn Weed does not help with OCD it just chills you out when your listenin' to music. Nuff said

  • lmao

  • I HAVE THE SICKEST OCD, BUT THANK GOD I FOUND Zolpidem (Ambien, Stilnox) . IT RELEAXES U FOR ABOUT 5,, HOURS AND UR OCD VANISHES FOR SOMETIME, ITS NOT A PERMENANT CURE BUT U SHUD DEFINITELY TRY DIS TILL U RECOVER, NO MEDICINE WORKDED ON ME BUT DIS

  • This isn't funny. I'm not saying that because I'm butthurt or anything, it's just not funny.

Really, fixing a crooked picture frame is the least of my worries, as well as millions of others with OCD. We have bigger shit to worry about, like our friend getting cancer if we don't move our foot an inch to the right.

  • @lespaulrentals There are many variations and degrees of OCD - not just life stopping ones. This is merely one version. Maybe make a film and show yours. Hope you are well.

  • @Pea4music

    You're right. Sorry for hating.

To those that do have this form, I embrace you as a fellow sufferer and wish you well.

  • I got mad OCD but this shit right here made me laugh.

  • 0:14 You have OCD if you notice the painting before the fat black man

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess only the ones with OCD can understand this video.. Anyways, could someone with OCD translate it for me??!!

  • @Eididfarah The video isn't very good at describing it, but basically, it's like, hm. Okay, so the guy saw a squint picture frame, and it started nagging him, distracting him until he eventually had to give in because it was driving him insane.

  • Why not ignore what goes through herhead to show his hand forward and fall from the circle, and especially in wearing the head-nehrabat and permanently enjoy life.

  • this is why I don't look at pictures anymore :P it feels like they mock me.

  • it isn't OCD, its RACISM

  • if anyone asks how ocd affects me or makes me feel..I'm gunna direct them to this video..I'm happy I can laugh at my own illness with this :D

  • Does anyone have this thing where you like.. raise your pants backside cos its like bugging you and making you feel FUCKING ANNOYED...also this thing with water bottles. There are these Water bottles with 2 sides,1 side being translated in say.. idk Greek and the other side English. Same pattern and all,and turning the bottles any language sett towards you,but EXACTLY like.. straight looking at you and stuff... idk maybe its just me..

  • hahhahha the women talking represents what's really happening and what normal people would focus on but the big guy in the back's voice is representing the urge/tick to perform a compulsion, and more he ignores him (the urge), the more tense and "loud" it becomes, so eventually our friend here listens to it finally and does the compulsion of adjusting out of place things. i can tell because i have OCD myself hahha, i love how the video uses nice representation.

  • you can visit ocdmesh.com to connect with other people that have ocd.. it's a new blog.. help it grow by following it! :)

  • It's a truth . I know it .I know people who suffer from it,but they still don't know it is OCD.

  • if im working on tall buildings or even sight seeing cliffs etc i fear i may jump even though i really dont want to. i also have this thought that i may slap or punch someone who im talking with and visualize. at times it will get so uncomforting that i will step back from the person and put my hands in my pockets. im very social but choose to live alone so i can have relief from my thought patterns involving people. i loathe the thought of taking drugs but will if this gets worse.

  • @randalt63 me too. i hate bridges. and i ahte people too near my face

  • imagine explaining that to your guest at the dinner table.

  • I think I have it, I always have temptations to do something a certain way, like when someones hair isnt fixed I have a temptation to fix it or when the teacher doesnt fully run of all the writing off the board. or when i open a doorknob I need to go back and turn it for some reason.

  • funny but accurate

  • I have Body Dysmorphic Disorder & OCD and this is EXACTLY what it's like. I'm constantly thinking about my nose and have a perpetual, strong desire to keep checking and touching it in the mirror even in the middle of conversations like this. It's worse than the most extreme ADD. On top of that, I'm constantly organizing/cleaning and can't function if my nails aren't all perfectly filed. I have twitches too.

  • LMAO! God that was some funny shit!

  • I didn't know my OCD was a black man in a tutu!!!! I have OCD and I think this is funny!!!

  • I used to say Amen to my family 5 times in my bed before I went to sleep (they didn't hear or know). I couldn't stop, and I kept thinking, what the FUCK is wrong with me? And suddenly it stopped and then something else came up. When I was lying in bed and my shiny router was rotated in a way my brain didn't like, I had to get up from the bed and fix it. I also had problems with cleaning my computer screen. It's kind of mild (I hope?)

  • This is actually a pretty good explanation.

The black dude, who wants attention represents the thoughts that occur (which can be just about everything, usually really negative and self defeating stuff.)

And then when he fixes the frame, is his way of dealing with them.

  • so i get this thing where ill count 1,2,3,1 or 1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1 and sometimes its even more complex than that. and i get this at least 50 times a day where ill have to stop doing whatever im doing and look at something for 1,2,3,1 or 1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1 seconds (it sounds sort of confusing) or twitch my head that many times or something. its gotten worse where now i stare at ppl for that many seconds or do these rituals in public. its kind of mild now, but should i see a doctor?

  • @ariisbest2

It's best if you can. OCD can develop rather quickly if you don't seek help. Although your OCD honestly seems a bit worse than "mild".

  • Hahaha OCD would be a he'll of a lot funnier to have if there was really that black dude gettin your attention all the time

  • imagine that everything you say to someone you have to practice in your head 300 times before you can say it and after you say it out loud you are repeating it to yourself under your breath but anyone nearby can hear it for the next 4 hours.....

  • awesome. I have super severe ocd and that was sweet

  • That is exactly what it is like - metaphorically of course, lol.

  • I wish my OCD was that entertaining...

  • did she say that she had to get her asshole checked at 0:34

  • @alexandreleverrier "...eyes swelled shut..."

    :P

  • so true... only the ones who have it know how it feels..

  • good vid! very true..

  • Now i feel bad to laugh...im sorry

  • I have an army of this balck man

    in my brain

    :(

  • @ufoslover Good

  • @arjunbeeyaararj asshole

  • He pushed it down but shouldnt he have pushed it up

  • Sad but true :(

  • Wow, I've been trying to find a video that describes OCD well, and this one is perfect!! It's so true, and kinda funny lol

  • I had OCD but honestly I get over it myself. The more you do with your time the less it gets you.

  • @UndercoverCracker i know rite? thats what im trying to do

  • @UndercoverCracker partially true but not the case with everyone who has it though.. Gotta remember that some people are so severe that doing more w their time doesn't matter. Some people don't have it as bad as others. It's all about how strong the urge is. That has a lot to do with brain chemistry

  • Thank you for this video. I know someone who has OCD and it makes me realize so much more..

  • He's a nut

    She's a cybernetic killing robot

    *****INITIATING KILL ORDER NAO*****

  • haha sooo true, well not the big guy in a tutu

  • is it just me or do people with OCD have diffficulty sleeping and also often tap their feet?

  • @bugsbunnybuddy Probably. I check light switches and words >_>

  • @bugsbunnybuddy well i dont know if they tap their feet. but they do have trouble sleepin

  • Hey hey hey!!!!!!!

    Love it .

  • That's why writing "I will not chew gum in school" 100 times on the chalk board for punishment in school is not a good thing. :)

  • This is very accurate:) I take medication for my OCD. So it is a LOT better than it used to be. When I was younger this is how I felt all the time.

    This is a cute video:P

  • Even numbers are better than odd numbers. It should symmetrical.

  • This is alot like ocd.. I have it for a long time now and i hate when out of nowhere it stops but later happens again..:((

  • I hAvE cDo, ItS! lIkE OcD BuT tHe LeTtErS aRe in aLpHeLfEbCtIl OrDeR, LiKe ThAy ShOuLd Be?. (mumble this outloud in puplic and peapole will thin your DuM = PIE YUMMY? (v) ( '') ...........RABBITS ARE ENTERING MY HOOUSE IN LARG. E NUMBERS NAD STEALING MY CARRIOTS THERE FARTING ON MY TOST

Seyrlusy if you red this hole thind your a complet reatard $4

  • @rmallat12 well your absoulty rIGHT

  • Lol OCD is a big black man.

  • @atheniandp

    Exactly

  • I actually felt a hint of a compulsion coming on from the way he touched the picture frame a second time. NEVER AN EVEN NUMBER >_<

But yeah, this video is hilarious. I don't see how anyone could be offended by this; those with OCD will find it the funniest.

  • Seriously, this video is way off. I have OCD but if I am on a date or talking to a girl I just ignore it instead of embarrassiing myself.

  • @metathus that means you dont have it as bad as other people. Could be wrong though. I have it too and its driving me INSANE....twitch..twitch. Kidding, but i do have it and best of luck to you.

  • @Phantomnano1 Well, I have it bad when I am by myself. There have been times where I coulndt get to sleep for like 2 hours just because I counldnt do my OCD right. It was crippling for a long time, but then I started drinking alcohol. I know its not a good solution, but it makes me forget about a lot of my OCD.

  • if you have ocd you find this video hilarious

  • @Sarkloid Indeed!

  • @Sarkloid it's true, pretty accurate actually

  • This is dumb and this isn't OCD.

  • @11215142615 do you have ocd?

  • @11215142615 It's very clever and it is exactly OCD. Maybe your problem is something else.

  • wow

    really ?

  • I love this video! I have some light OCD behavior and this IS how it is like!

  • @SagaciousSilence i really do agree with you and this was hilarious! Problem with my version of it is that i obsesse over obsessing. What you do?

  • @Phantomnano1 I like to keep everything around me in order. I'll be having a conversation, and then I'll move away to fix something that looks out of order or messy. And in college during lecture, I can't help but put all my papers and notebooks in perfect straight lines. If you pay attention to the way I write, then you will notice that I have perfect grammar and spelling. I am obsessed with setting things to be perfect!

  • lol i love this vid

  • Wow that's so right! That happens to me sometimes...

  • That's straight up me when I go ta bed and then I end up seeing something on my t.v.but not on the other side,I have to go down of my bunk bed then fix it then use the bathroom again.../:-

  • @adriakidd That suck. Last year I would stand for hours touching things in order. Saw a cycologist though and now im a little better. Good luck:)

  • GOOGLE A COMPANY CALLED MAGNETIC PILL! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE FOR THE BRAIN AND CALMING EVERYTHING!! PLEASE READ UP ON IT! CURED MY BROTHER COMPLETELY OF OCD! HE IS A NEW MAN!

  • @AndroxineVortex

thanks for the advice. it's hard to explain, but in a way I like being like this. it's all I know. sometimes I want out. I guess I have to figure out what I want first.

  • @bugsbunnybuddy I know exactly what you mean!!!! Like, it would be so weird if it changed, like a part of you is missing? Because this is who you are?? I feel the EXACT same way. I hate my OCD, but I can't imagine life without it!

By the way- this video was amazing.

  • my doctor said that I have borderline OCD. I was so nervous i couldn't tell him that it is worse than what he thought. anyway, we have to swim in gym. I got my dr to sign a note saying I don't have to swim. I can't because pools are bacteria infested and even the thought of swimming can throw me in panic attaks. is this a lame excuse not to swim?

  • @bugsbunnybuddy I can't fully comprehend what it feels like to you but I do know that you can overcome almost anything. The only reason you wont be able to overcome something is if you let yourself down. This sounds harsh but not all advice in life is next to a texted smiley face. You just have to push yourself, maybe not all at once but you know, take it slowly. Let me know how it goes, I'll be rooting for you. (also, prayer has goten me through a lot of my problems)

  • anyone with pure o and other ocd type on you tube:

OCD: Treating and understanding a complex disorder

  • I like the principle you used. It definately relates to circumstances I try to avoid ocd and it only makes the thought come back stronger and more fierce

  • @MissPonderosa so true! so true! i have ocd and have this problem. what can we do? how can we stop it from coming back stronger and more fierce?

  • @skaro85 hard without psych sessions. I've tried.. its conter-productive trying to fix it because the more you try rationalise with yourself the more OCD fights back and makes you feel worse then when you started off..and even if you finally do (and feel shit because of it) every time is just as hard as the last...it doesn't get any easier and it should. Its like trying to cure ocd is a full time job. cant handle that and studying... so I pretty much do what is says

  • @MissPonderosa i know just how you feel

  • stay in the 'fire'.

  • Hey look it's my life

  • @Zee1198 same here lol

  • that black dude.. fuck him.

  • everytime i feel anxious from my ocd i feel the hairs on my back are standing up and like im every where and i feel extremely stressed and there's this black guy in a tutu or w/e and he's yelling hey at me until i count something to 20 or crack my knuckles or w/e else

  • very accurate.

  • Awesome. (Although my OCD is much more minor.)

  • That guy was acting rude... Iam one of these people get irritatedly overwhelmed

  • I think, this is me to the t, I have had intruding thought about reliogon though, and they come all the time and I find my self checking stuff too. Or I may have the symptons

  • Oh GOD... intrusive thoughts... I call it The Monkey cos the wee bugger keeps jumping on my left shoulder and chattering in my ear Lol!

I have OCD, therefore I am...

  • my ocd's name is adam snow, esquire. he's a mildly attractive but sneaky and weasely guy who likes to follow close behind me and snicker and jump around. not true. but almost.

yes, this video is AWESOMELY ACCURATE!

  • Yea pretty kool. This vid really puts OCD in to perspective. I wouldn't know, but I have always wondered and this makes the most sense.

  • I think I might have ocd...when I touch something on one side I have to touch it on the other... Like if I scratch my right arm I have to scratch my left... Or it feels weird

  • @jbjustinlovsme SAME!!

  • @jbjustinlovsme I have the same thing and I have OCD

  • If someone did that while I was talking to them I wouldn't glare and shake my head at them. Bitches always gotta talk about themselves and get pissed when they can't.

  • hahaha...I do that...

  • Cobb: Sometimes my OCD manifests itself as a black man in a tutu...

  • I can't sleep! it's 12:51 and I have a game at 7 am! I keep thinkning about going back to school. I'm really scared to go after break because of all the germs from so many people! I really want to wash my hands but I just did. I think my OCD like symptoms got worse!

  • there is more than one type of way to act with OCD. it can be doing things multiple times, avoiding things, etc. but one thing NOBODY ever mentions is getting things! i have ocd and i HAVE to get what i want WHEN i want it. anyone else like that?

  • @Werewolfmist same here i have ocd i'm pretty sure but i also get kind of depressed when i want something and can't get it i also get very agressive it's very weird i'm not being a spoilt brat it's just how i am o.O

  • @themousemaster i know right! i have a walk in closet FULL of stuffed animals. it's not cuz i'm spoiled. it's cuz i NEED it.... glad you understand! :) and yeah i can get agressive and angry too. and overly protective...

  • @Werewolfmist not raelly, but i do have this recurring obsession where i imgine myself freaking out and having a hissy fit over something i want because i remember myself doing that when i was really really little once, so I HATE THE WORD "WANT" and everything someone asks, "do you want this?" i have to either be really unsure or say no or else i'll start to feel awkward and sick. so weird... but yeah, i guess that doesn't have much to do with yuor statement, but yeah that sounds like an ocd.

  • @appletinihamshire yeah that could be ocd. omg there are soooo many kinds of ocd! i like it when someone asks me if i want something! i have sooo much stuff already due to ocd, but i feel that is still need MORE! so yeah.... thx for sharing.

  • Wow, this poor guy is more OCD than the Count from Sesame Street!

  • @stookie250

do you have to take medication to take the edge off things?

  • i have OCD and im 12 in 6 grade and it's a little hard but ive been trying to control myself, what i do is everything has to be perfect, like when im at school i have a pen in my folder and it has to be strait or it will just bother me all day.And when someone forgets to turn off a light or something else i want to turn it off but when it's in school and church i can't but the feeling of wanting to turn it off goes away

  • @Drpeppergirl11 maby you shouldnt go to church it corrupts simple minded people

  • @MrSubmitter well im u know a christain and i like going to church, and it's not one of those catleck churches i go to a opastaleck church.

  • @Drpeppergirl11 my point exactly

  • @MrSubmitter Lol, religiosity doesn't cause OCD. It's a possibly genetic brain disease.

  • @Lumeveraja its not brain disease .its behavioral learning ,,,some people may be geneticaly more vulnerable to develop ocd habits but that doesnt make it uncurable

  • @yellow6100 If a person is genetically vulnerable to develop severe OCD habits, doesn't that practically mean that the person has a brain disease? After all, a mental disease/illness is one that hinders everyday functioning, so it's not a black/white thing. I do agree/know that OCD is treatable, but that does not make it any less a disease.

(Also, atherosclerosis is not a cardiac disease, it's caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. Some people just are more vulnerable to it.)

  • I am trying to figure out if I have OCD. everytime someone touches me I have to touch that spot. sometimes even objects that touch me and sometimes even myself. and the constant thoughts. they prevent me from sleeping a lot. the most annoying part is that the its the same thoughts. what do you think?

  • @bugsbunnybuddy Yep, sounds like it to me. I have OCD and I have to touch things a certain amount of times and a certain way.

  • @bugsbunnybuddy mines similar if i breath on a sertain bad of my body il hav to blow or breath on the other! or if i stand on a stone with one foot i have to stand on another stone with the other foot! i count things evrywer i go and my favourite numer is five so if im counting and it lands in five in happy! i also hav sleeples nights thinkin the same thoughts over and over and im diagnosed with osd.

  • ive never seen anything more accurate to the way i feel..shit

  • so true

  • I have OCD and this pretty accurate. though I think it would be amusing if a large black man appeared everytime I have intrusive thoughts lolz

  • Okay that was adorable... I know the condition isn't, but this video was adorable and funny. Especially the guy ^_^

    It's so accurate. What a pain D;...

  • I don't know if this works, but OCD feeds off of fear, but comes back with revenge. Tell yourself you don't want revenge, meditate on what I have just said. Tell yourself you don't want revenge, explain that might be revenge is not intended to be it. You simple do it for fun, and not revenge. It may seem as if it were revenge, but is not what you wish for. Deep breathing while doing this helps. Example: Playing video games, and getting revenge unintentionally. Repost somewhere else if it work

  • I don't think that one can 'be OCD'. You can HAVE OCD, which means you have a disorder, but you can't BE a disorder, unless we're going to bend the definition of being something, and bend the definition of a disorder. Just thought I would throw that out there.

  • Getting treatment and just confessing one has OCD is very embarrassing and difficult, specially when you've got uncareing comments from poeple. For example comidian Kathy Griffin has a skit called the OCD Project in which she calls people with OCD "crazy" and laughs at them. To her it's simply funny but she is obviously unable to sympathize or empathize. It's because of people like her making spiteful, hurtufull, mean bullying comments that keep people hiding their OCD, living in denial.

  • eh kind of true... I actually did this. Plus as a joke, my friends always do this stuff. Write things in a non legible manner, put things out of order for me to reorganize. One time, when I eat I like to have my meals in a specific order & if I eat on a tray the items on my tray are organized. One day my friends decided to rearrange all my stuff on my tray when I went to grab a fork, I came back and I noticed as soon as I was about to eat. I had to rearrange everything back to how I like it.

  • That was a good excuse to get out of that one-sided conversation. It has nothing to do with OCD.

  • @Trinder3467 I'm guessing you don't have OCD, do you?

  • @LunaLovegood33 No, I don't think think think so. I honestly don't believe that such thing exists. with all due penis. I mean respect spect spect. Tell me, do people with OCD have paranoia as well? Or is it just episodes of wanting to shake their heads multiple times?or repeating themselves? I would like to know much, but i really don't believe in depression and OCD. Because if you do have it, then there has to be a trigger to it. Everything happens for a reason you know. reply.

  • @Trinder3467 ur a dumb ass

  • @Trinder3467 Goodness, you just came on the Internet to have a place for your shit-translated-into-words documents.

  • @rootvalue That's exactly why I am here. you see people with OCD are also smart. I'm learning new stuff all the time. wow. I'm gonna go and lock my door three times and then smash something with my foot.

  • "Shut up, bitch! I need to straighten this picture up." lol I do that kind if thing too..
