Watch Lacey Sturm from Flyleaf...she does it all the time during acoustic stuff. Adam Gontier from Three Days Grace does it live in both big shows (albeit less of the time) and acoustic ones.

I loved it. I think the acousticness gives the lyrics - well i guess a better way of getting through you. Because they're so loud compared to the music they can really hit you. And i love this song, its my favourite no matter how they perform it.
