The youtube video I was speaking of was entitled > Unidentified flying human.

Guys this really looks authentic. If you pause the video at 07 seconds you can see this things huge red eyes. It is clearly not as big as the reported Mothman in West Virginia but you can definitely see similarities. Don't speak Phillipino, but these guys filming it sound scared. Also, I am not familiar w/ the animals(birds,bats etc) in the Phillipines, but don't know of a creature that has huge red eyes that flies.

There is a video on youtube of these guys in the Phillipines behind a car when this thing jumps on the car. It looks like a small version of Mothman. Looks like they were recording this with a cell phone and when their car lights hit it in the face you can see two big red eyes. Very real looking and I would think hard to fake at the rate of speed the car in front is moving at. When this thing jumps on the back of the car it looks like the car is being weighted down.

Which book are you looking for? "Behind the Red Eyes" by Jeff Whamsely? Or the "Mothman Prophecies" by John A. Keel? If you're looking for "Mothman Prophecies", you will only find it online. It was written in the 60's afterall. As for the other book, you may have to order it in.
