  • @adamburr WHAT?!? You serious?!? You made these intros for PIX's 8 O'Clock Movie during the mid-90's?!? Man, you a genius!

  • This intro brings back movies... Even when WPIX11 became WB11, they still used this intro for a quite a long time.

  • @Virus973 *brings back memories too... lol oops

  • Epic...

  • Thank you for this upload. Brought back such fond and treasured memories, however, did make me sad since I miss that era :-(

  • As a kid, I remember this intro so much growing up. It's really weird, but this video hits me like no other.

  • WPIX 11, lit a flame in the hearts of every tri-state viewer that will never go out. Thanks.

    80s New York + WPIX 11. WOW

  • Does anyone have the 8 o'clock Movie version of this?

  • Word! That was the best one...and the most accurate! The 1995-1999 version of the 8 O'Clock Movie bumper was insanely wonderful to watch. Loved the computerized graphics. Kinda of a precursor to GTA:Liberty City

  • Ur welcome man I miss those days too

  • ah i miss this so much

  • ooohhh myyy gooood!!!! ive been looking everywhere for this on youtube. the last time i seen this is when i was 5. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

  • Naw, man. You ain't the only one. I remember watching it in 6th grade (1995-1996). They showed that version like four times and that was it.

  • You are so right. The 8 O'Clock Movie from 1995-96 and the Weekend Movie bumpers from 1995-99 single-handedly blew all the others out the water. There was an extended version of the 8OCM that show parts of Brooklyn, the Tram, Greenwich Village, and a bird's eye view of Times Square and the GWB. WOW!

  • ur welcome Blaqice i miss dem days lol

  • Naw, you are the best. I don't think there's any station that showed as much love for NYC than WPIX, man. Thanks for that reminder.

  • YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS! Flushing Meadows, the Staten Island Ferry, Lower Manhattan, the Chrysler Building. 1995. You brought it WAY back, man. I remember watching this bumper and actually passing by the globe in Flushing en route to our sister church in Brooklyn. Thnks fr th mmrs. You the best!
