Heyy im making a Channel 11 dvd collection..Yea im a nerd haha but c'mon, where else would i have seen all these movies..any suggestions for titles like Superman, Jaws movies, Batteries not Included, Heathers, Short Circuit, 1 and 2 Creepshow 1 and 2..haha Let me know what you can come up with!
Word! That was the best one...and the most accurate! The 1995-1999 version of the 8 O'Clock Movie bumper was insanely wonderful to watch. Loved the computerized graphics. Kinda of a precursor to GTA:Liberty City
You are so right. The 8 O'Clock Movie from 1995-96 and the Weekend Movie bumpers from 1995-99 single-handedly blew all the others out the water. There was an extended version of the 8OCM that show parts of Brooklyn, the Tram, Greenwich Village, and a bird's eye view of Times Square and the GWB. WOW!
YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS! Flushing Meadows, the Staten Island Ferry, Lower Manhattan, the Chrysler Building. 1995. You brought it WAY back, man. I remember watching this bumper and actually passing by the globe in Flushing en route to our sister church in Brooklyn. Thnks fr th mmrs. You the best!

This intro brings back movies... Even when WPIX11 became WB11, they still used this intro for a quite a long time.
