That last 'incident' is a bit silly. He falls like he collapsed but then is like "Op! Just fell with me papers!"... I think the guy in red thought the same thing.
idk about helping pick up papers..you dont need 20 ppl helping you pick up 5 pieces of paper....i think the experiment of child kidnapping bystander test in broad daylight is way more serious than this.just saying.
ABC's "What would you do" cover bystander much better with real experiments, I wouldn't help a dude with 5 papers, and I wouldn't expect any help in return.
The bystander effect also has to do with conformity. We are constantly taking our cues from others. To be outside the group, is too much for most of us.
