i bought mine at the marine corp exchange (im navy) for less then $300, i love that rifle. the scope that came with it was garbage though. it couldnt handle the recoil. fired a few rounds and was trying to make adjustments and it fell off, tightened it back down with a screwdriver and tried again. got a better scope from gunshow. love it!
mine has problems with the loading ramp it sometimes wont feed a round into the chamber and they jam up frequently its really annoying. atr100 walnut stock .308 win
Oh believe me, I know! Its about $300 here in the States and it performs as good as any winchester or remmington straight out of the box! I have a Mossberg in the 30/06 and absolutely love it.
In new Zealand we can legally use a noise suppressor on all rifles. This suppressor is specially designed for high powered rifles and the one I was using caters for all calibers up to .30cal exluding the WSM and the other magnum calibers. The Advantage of using a suppressor is the fact the game animal will not run away from you but actually comes towards you allowing for a follow up shot if required due to the suppressor distorting the noise and confusing the animal

that thing doesn't seem to kick much like most 308.'s iv shoot
williammeridith 1 year ago
@williammeridith
No it does not kick as much as the suppressor removes a lot of the recoil which is caused when the gasses exit the muzzle

How did you mod the barrel to fit the suppressor?
defm1 1 year ago
@defm1
The end of the barrel is threaded and uses a similar thread to the muzzle brake.

@maoriwahine2008 mine didnt come threaded

It all depends on what country you live in if you are in the USA you need to have a permit for a suppressor
