The fall is wrong my friend some of my family was there owen landed facing the ropes and the toprope hit owen adround his chest armpit area he then bounced back in to the ring on to his back a relitive said stright after he landed he tried to sit up but fell back down. Med reports state if he have stayed laying down he would have survived wwe said he died layer in hospital family had front row seats and said you could tell he was dead inthe ring

I don't think it would have made a difference. With a severed aorta, your pretty much fucked... and if he died in the ring, he would still need to be taken to the hospital to be declared dead. thats why he was listed as DOA... he was dead when he got there.

Wow. Pretty powerful even if it is just animation. I have always wondered if he would have lived if he had not hit the turnbuckle. He would have been a quadriplegic probably but would he survive? The ring is after all designed to give just a little bit and a turn buckle is not.

To all of you arguing how he died: Have a little more respect! If you really want to know that facts here they are: He hit his chest on the turnbuckle. The trauma severed his thoracic (chest) aorta, which is the largest artery in the body. This caused massive bleeding. He passed away backstage while waiting for an ambulance. Now will you leave it alone please?

i swear i saw some video in like 2001 of him falling but i didnt know who it was just flailed his arms like he was swimming, could hear him screaming then thump when he hit and another thump when he bounced back into the ring, instantly he lifted his head arms and legs then right away collapsed back down. i thought wtf was this idiot doing?? years later i realized it was one of my favorite wresetlers as a kid. might have been on faces of death or something. it happened so fast it seemed fake
