Carrie Underwood is one of my favorite singers but this version of Umbrella wasn't fit for her voice.  I think it would sound great if she sang it more in a ballad like Mandy Moore (another one of my favorite singers!) did. Mandy Moore did the best version of Umbrella because she makes it sound like a beautiful love song, which it is. Taylor Swift's version/voice sounds like cat's vomiting and I don't know who ever gave her a microphone. She's a talented writer, but definitely not a singer.
