hey um how to make your minifigure walk so smoothly? PLEASE, PLEASE, respond with a video if you can. I just want to be a good brick-filmer. And I see you use a web cam. I dont and when ever I take a picture the camera moves. I need help. I made a camera stand-thing so it could attatch to a baseplate. As you could see in my videos my minifig's are either walking to slow or to fast. I like your steady pace of the minifigure I need lots of help with that and I think a web cam will help. ?????????
good stuff to know, except I disagree that the flat shot is "over used" if it's a short film under two minutes then you don't want the camera to be too OUTRAGOUS, it'll distract from the story thats already short enough, just making a point, good film :)
Hi! i know that you have done a tutorial on how to make the blaster effects in particle illusion but i thought thought that maybe you could make a tutorial on how to actually edit the stop motion in particle illusion because that would help me ALOT. ok thanks.
My camera is a good one, but it's a little big to do Extreme Closeups. But i'm soon going to get a new thingy for it so i can take more pic's and have better quality.
Nice! Thanks dude! By watching the camera movement tutorials of xxxfancypantsxxx and your camera angle video I can connect them to some pretty good shots! Thanks!
despite i knew most of that, it was very well made. I am in the planning stages of doing something similar, but more with depth of field, just thought I'd let you know so you didn't think I was copying you
i was on ebay and found a logitech webcam for $5, nut the postage was $70.

On the times I've done overhead shots I put the base of the set against the wall to simplify the shot.

I seem to be the only one who uses a regular digital camera and tri-pod. These shots are easy for me.

For the extreme close-up, I just zoom out as much as I can, and put my camera closer, but that only works with a camcorder. But great tutorial.

A Logitech Webcam would be perfect for just about all of these types of angles and shots. I use a Logitech Quickcam Pro for Notebooks.

Thank you so much for this! I wish i could use them, but my camera only has 10x Optical zoom so it is difficult to zoom in AND keep the quality good.
