  • SUCH INTENSITY

  • nice muic

  • i would like to know is this a ice cube or gummi bear because im thinking about doing something similiar

  • well im only in 8th grade and that was the only logical thing i could possibly think of..so thx :D

  • can someone plz explain why exactly the dye seperates and settles to the bottom in warm water... i dont quite understand how this displays convection and i'm considering doing this for class, plz someone respond asap, thanks :)

  • @rayzerTH The ice is melting right? so the water is cold...so it settles in the warm water because heat rises...this is just a hypothesis..so don't blame me if im wrong..

  • @ImClaytoniThink yea i eventually learnt that while doing research its basically wat convection is about cold water being denser so it sinks while heat is less dense so it rises.. so forth, thanks though

  • @rayzerTH convection happens because of density. In warmer fluids to molecules are father apart, and in colder fluids they are closer together. The closer the molecules are, the denser and therefore heavier they are. The warm water is not moving. The colder water from the icecube as it melts is heavier and falls to the bottom.

  • that is neat, you should have had some die inside the bottom of the container from the start then heated the water then droped in the ice

  • wow that so cool and relaxing

  • It's the life stream.

  • Oh no! Lil Green cube!!!

  • its jizzin

  • It's raining green liquid!

  • ewie... xD

  • this looks like osmosis

  • @jacksonkin21 fail

  • @jacksonkin21 faily

  • @jacksonkin21 fail

  • wtf

  • bad song choice

  • thx. i never thot of checking ice like that. :) you guyz r smart....im in 6th grade though....

  • my teacher showed this to us

  • O OK

  • is the water hot or cold? im in school and im learning about mantel convection and they used the ice and dye example. ive had trouble understanding it becuz im a vizual person. but thanks for adding this i sort of understand better.

  • itz waarm water

  • im doing sort of the same thing in school too, i was actually looking for ideas for my project and this helped me get an idea of what i want to do, anyways good job =]

  • wow... nice song.

  • quite fascinating to watch

  • Hi jberes87

godd succeded video. How did you colour the ice cube? With food colouring and water? And the water did you leave it as it was? I've got to do the same thing at school, have you got scientific documentary on this topic?

    Thanks
