Islam preaches Love for Jesus and the Qur'an teaches us to love Jesus (pbuh)...surely a book that speaks Good and Honours Jesus and his mother Mary can't be corrupt. Jesus (pbuh) taught man to respect others regardless and to love them. So why is it that you are not respecting us and loving us? you are not even following what Jesus (pbuh) taught. therefore, it is obvious you have no clue what your religion is about let alone another religion.

Let us all try to make the best so we hopefully can get the best! RIS is one of the most important events for muslims in Canada, espically for those Libyans who hope to get the best out of the event,and teach their children and grandchildren. when it comes to RIS money isn't an issue to worry about, no matter what the reasons were or what others are aiming for, we all paid money to learn more about our religion and alhdmo'allh i guess alot of those people learned so they can proceed with islam.

it's a shame that people have problem with paying $55 for RIS, a three day event with the top scholars and presenters from around the world. less than $20 a day to revive our spirit seems too much, and yet majority of the $500 V-VIP tickets at Shah Rukh Khan concerts are bought by Muslims. A movie ticket with popcorn and a soda for 2 is about $50. RIS is the most reasonable ticket pricing in all the major islamic event. ISNA is $120 per person, and they don't even compare to ris.

RIS has clearly become a business rather than for the sake of Allah its clear tickets started at around 25-30 dollars when they only had 3000 people attend yet they still held it at metro convention centre and now tickets are 55 dollars and people are 20 000 plus they make 100 of thousands through the food hotels booths and yet every year they sell cds god knows how much they make soon its gonna 60 dollars

I think they do sell the CDs of his lectures ..maybe we should ask the RIS people of email Hamza Yusuf lol

And there is a cost for cds so they can run the RIS convention again next year and they pay for the imams and the sheikhs and their expenses and the quality of lectures we get is great, so I guess its all worth it
