When you cut your finger,the single has been send from vessels to brain for the pain. All the collection of veins and arteries get together to the head,which let you know about the pain.When the vein and arties are cut down with in seconds before getting the signals to the brain. How come animal will feel the pain?

@zain19 BS you leave the spinal cord intact which means the animal likely dies a slow painful death. I'd be shocked, SHOCKED, if this were not true. Pain information travels through the spinal cord, not the arteries in the trought. The animal dies in agony.

About spinal cord,when it is sending sensory signals to the brain they are useless to it! Look, I'm not saying other ways of killing animals are definately not painless, but I've done enough work in animal labs to know this painless kind of death you are describing requires the use of an anesthetic overdose and this simply is not done with this particular method of slaughter. You're buying into lies.

Reason of spinal cord is not cut is to keep the heart pumping so most of the blood must came out of body from the throat and keeping the animal less toxic.Animal moves his legs because of lack of blood in that part. try it:Check for blood in leg before and after slaughtering an animal. @zain19 Yeah, sure it goes unconcious AS it loses blood. But it will hurt before that. And like I said before, I'm not defending the other methods of slaughtering animals, but I call BS on those who claim this is less painful. It is just as barbaric, ritualistic, and pointless as Kosher killings. Don't try and fool people into thinking it is painless. Unless anesthetic is used, it is not painless. Don't be stupid, and stop trying to spread it.

Proof is difficult to come by what with animals feeling pain, but here, type this into google scholar: Gradin (2010), Miele (2010), Hamdan (n.d.). Ireiterate MY points. You don't seem to have any proof (I showed you mine time to show me yours) but show me what you got. Remember, my sources are peer-reviewed, and from academic journals. A website or youtube video will not convince me.

Really? Critics claim that slaughtering animal in Islam is barbaric? They clearly have no argument. First of all the way we do it is painless and hygienic. By cutting the neck, the nerves will be cut off from the brain. Also, by cutting the neck, the main bloodstream will be cut with it. Most of the blood will flow out. Keeping the meet fresh and removes bacteria. Anyway, how did they slaughter an animal? Surely they don't eat it alive...

@La19000 If you cut nervs the the brain will register intense pain. It is like cutting of an arm. In addition you do not cut the spinal cord so the nerves are not cut of from the brain.

@La19000 Pain is considerable greater than by killing with a bolt. Pain is not minimal. How can you say that? I study biology and can assure you that the animal suffers intense pain. We are talking about bleeding out alive with a cut throat! Wake up and educate yourself.
