on October fourth 2009, the man who portrayed Mario in the live action segments of the super Mario brothers super show died, this man was Louis Vincent Albano. when he died, it was like a piece of me was ripped out and chucked out the window.

Only younger people would question why Mario 2 elements were in this show when they weren't around when this was new. At that time we didn't know the story behind Mario 2. It wasn't until Mario All Stars on the SNES until most of us found out about the real Mario 2 being called The Lost Levels was the real Mario 2. Also, for the younger generation to criticize cartoons like this need to watch the crap that comes on TV nowadays that my kids watch!! They don't make them like they use too!!

@FlamingMolotov Oh right, because back in the early 90's we had amazing technology to enhance this show to great heights! This show was a chunk of my childhood, and for an early 90's show it was one of my favorites. Its a shame how unappreciative people today are of what we had back then. Sure, the acting may not be the best, but its a god damn cartoon, targeted at CHILDREN, who honestly probably don't give a fuck about actors. Go back to your Assassin's Creed and Halo games.

@kazooga1234 Well, back then, suggestive content wasn't a huge issue in cartoons ( some examples being the nurse in Animaniacs or Tom smoking in Tom and Jerry), but when you got older, you find out how oblivious you were to that kind of content and just have a good laugh about it. But today's cartoons take all of that away and make it bland...
