Also, wouldnt it be a problem how when u switch to to the first strike rounds to take some1 out,. wouldnt there alerady be a regular paintball chambered in the barrel berfore the FS round is? Could a closed bolt firing system solve this or wut i dunno if it already has one....
Dude they're both great guns and although I don't own the new 8.1, I do have the older one. I would recommend the TPX over the tac 8.1 tho.
For me it's just about those heavy fuckin T8 mags, they're a pain in the ass when you're running around and awkward to load into the gun. Also they make the grip huge.
The Tac 8 is a great marker, the TPX is just better in my opinion..
read some reviews before dude, i have heard nothing but good about the T8.1 but i have heard a few bad things about the tpx though. i just actually ordered a T8.1 online, its not here yet but i will tell you how it is
I agree with MrDJ, Ive personally owned a TPX and it was junk compared to the T8/T8.1
The Tiberius line of markers have a better internal system all around. One of the major flaws with the TPX is the mag design. The staggered stack of the paint is a huge design error that causes nothing but problems. The internal design is not that bad..and dont get me wrong, when my TPX worked..I liked it...but not as much as my T8.
@Andrers94 Which mods specifically? I know that LAPCO will be making a bottomline adapter like the original, also I believe the Underground Mod Shop will be developing a Compensator for the 8.1 as well. If I hear of anything else, we will keep everyone updated!

@Yumyumtuna The new 8.1 is only $199.95; First Strike capable out of the box. A really good deal. Also it has the remote adapter which opens a lot of possibilities!
Ok one more question, if you can answer it. I know I'm not talking directly to Tiberius Arms. Are the T8 mags compatible with the T8.1 and vice versa?
Does the T8.1 ONLY do First Strike rounds or can it do regular paintballs out of the box? The T4 can switch back and forth between regular paintballs and First Strike ones?! GENIUS!

I can't deside between tippmann tpx and the Tiberius 8.1 but I was also wondering what's the difference of the sights.
P.S: I don't have much money to buy more then 340$

No, the 8.1 can hold 8 regular paintballs or 8 first strike rounds in the mag.
